Sometimes you have to run half a map to find an enemy, and sometimes u find 10 ppl on the same spot 10s after spawn. Not being able to scout how many people theres around creates a lot of unpleasant scenarios that makes you overthink a lot on wheter you should fight or not. I see way better options like the normal Royale spawn with an airplane crossing the map, or My Hero Ultra Rumble where you choose your spawn and after choosing time is over youre able to see how many people are there and play accordingly.
