Couldn't pick up items?

I was in a game and me and my teammate both went up to revive our other teammate It showed the bar for reviving and they were revived right after reviving I realized that it didn't show the text for picking up items and wouldn't do anything if I clicked the equip button. I still could unequip items but not equip using the normal equipping button. Could be due to using the button for reviving at the same time as my teammate and locked my use of the equipping key.

Wasnt sure if the update today had fixed this but see no official answer that it was fixed today so they r probably still trying to fix
