Hello.
I think that it is smart to set everyone at zero for mmr to get an accurate estimation of it, HOWEVER the lack of any matchmaking bracket makes playing the game unfun for all. This would be okay otherwise but the addition of progression mechanics is supposed to make you play the game. So when you have no brackets and progression mechanics it makes playing the game to progress not very fun.
