Please dont roast me too hard for the first two rounds.
Looking for any feedback on what i shoudl improve in my game. This is a rare game recently where i did frag, im trying to submit a vod where i think i played well as per FAQ.

I think I don't com enough on defense, even when i attempt it, I find it hard to come up with plans involving 1 teammate. I am just occasionally trying to set up crossfires.

Not sure if its my mechanics holding me back, my movement or something else, by stats on tracker i feel it should be mechanical, but there can be so many other things, so a different perspective would help a lot.

Round 1
Put some thought on how you entry, usually that path is not good. I would go just straight and fight right side

#

Round 2
I like the plan. But you have to be aware of the wall on mid since they have a Sage. Knifing the wall is risky because of that happened could happen.
I would say it something like this: "Lets go mid, break the wall immediately, Sage you wall vents, and we rush heaven. Go fast. Viper you go lurk B main (if you want)"

#

Round 3
Good round

#

Round 4
Clear your angles slower. You peek into a few angles too quickly, without good crosshair placement

Hey, thanks for the help, the video makes it a lot easier to understand. I see what you mean in round 4, I also smoked myself off with the second smoke, preventing myself from checking angles like you showed. Also i dint check top left with the dash.

Round 5
You wanted to "fake mid", which normally is not a thing. You can take mid control then go A, but that's not a fake.
Faking in lower ELO works very well, and I would suggest instead of faking mid, fake B and go A.
Since the enemy team doesn't have a Cypher or Killjoy, you can fake either.

Then you guys ran A, and met 4 people waiting for you. It's because you didn't shift and you didn't fake anything either.
Then you make a good decision to rotate, plats aren't smart enough to be aware of such plays, but you clearly are. Well played!

Also, you call B main "Long". Probably got your Sage confused

#

Round 6
Playing ult on Jett should be forced, as in only if you have to. If you can buy a rifle I would buy a rifle. And use ult whenever you feel the need to, for example when there's a good opportunity to get an updraft kill.

Your entry wasn't good. An optimal entry with knives is the third one I showed in the clip I sent, where you updraft on that box. In stressful situations like that where you have bad crosshair placement just right click

#

Round 8
Nice kills, when you dash clear left or right side, then peek from the smoke with A or D, to be able to cut the angles you take in half

#

Round 9
Good round, although your entry needs work

#

Round 10
You can one way vents and stairs instead of smoking it off, keep that in mind.
When dashing into the smoke I would check sides

After getting site you have numbers advantage, you decided to push CT anyway but I get it.

#

Round 11
Good round

#

Round 12
You seem to think you have to entry every round. Since you're not the only duelist, it's completely fine to lurk, even for the whole round.
You heard Omen TP behind you and didn't comm it, I guess you didn't realize happens

When going heaven you never cleared that angle, finally someone was actually there

#

Overall for attack
I like the IGLing, and the desire to entry for your team.
But, you need to work on your entry paths, whether it is in customs or practice it by playing more.
Some of your plans are lackluster, best plan in plat will always be fake A go B or vice versa
Work on clearing every common and off angle when taking space. This action is called "slicing the pie", it means clearing every angle slowly. Jump spot if needed, etc.
I know this was a wonderful half for you, but I'm sure some games don't go the same way. Therefore I would like you to submit next time a vod where you had an average performance, and I doubt this is your average since you got away with many things you shouldn't always get away with.

#

Round 13
You told Sage to wall mid every single round. I would disagree, as having variation of where you wall with Sage is important. Walling the same place every round could make it useless, it's very predictable and is very easily destructible.

I don't like your initial position, it's too passive and will probably not lead to any frags... Try and hold an off angle, or be where the action first occurs. I'm not saying peek some stupid angle, but be there.
The first blood is often the result of the round. If you're playing Jett, you're very likely to win the first fight, and avoid dying. Which is why Jett players love taking first fights.

#

Round 14
I would buy a Shorty instead, if you want you also drop it and pick it up after the round starts to have both a Classic and a Shorty
It doesn't really matter though, nice try

#

Round 15
Again a position which very hard to get first bloods from, imagine them all running, you probably won't kill anyone.

When retaking that dash was a bit counterproductive, you also literally hear him planting

#

Round 16
You're holding the same angle your Viper is for quite a while, I would rotate and seek for a gun

#

Round 17
You missed the second shot, unlucky
Also comm

#

Round 18
That play isn't good. Peeking that angle is so, so risky, for it to be justified you need a lot of util. They can obviously not all be looking at the Viper, which what happened.
There are a few crossfires you can do on A, here are some.

#

Round 19
Initial position often gets smoked off and the Omen, it's okay if they have a Viper although in higher ELO people have lineups, and who knows, if they're not filling maybe enemy Viper has too.
Here are some positions for Op on defense:

#

When retaking, you had your dash activated therefore you could've taken almost every fight and got away. I would smoke under you, peek your smoke with A or D, kill one and dash away immediately

#

Round 20
I'm sure you just messed it up, but you have to jump forward not just in the same place.
It's difficult to say you should've prepared your dash, but you should've. If you did the updraft correctly, I'm sure you would've spotted one, and since you didn't you had to expect that someone could be there! They completely outplayed you, I'm not sure how they knew to be honest

#

Round 21
Good round

#

Overall for defense
Need to Op more, and position yourself in better off angles to take the first fight.

Watch Jett videos on specific maps, they help a ton!
Learn entries
Find better angles
Play more, and I'm sure you'll rank up!
