#Separate Custom Audio Outputs (Main, Local, Squad, Mic)

Hello Admin/Dev Team,

I’d like to suggest an improvement to the audio system in Squad. Currently, all in-game audio (including voice chat) is mixed into a single output, which makes it difficult to manage for streamers. This creates a significant risk of violating strict streaming platform policies (such as TikTok), especially when other players use inappropriate language over voice chat.

Problem:

  • Voice chat is combined with the main game audio, making it impossible to separate for streaming purposes.
  • Streamers are at risk of warnings or even permanent bans due to content from other players’ voice chat.

Suggested Solution:

Add the option for separate custom audio outputs, divided as follows:

  1. Main Audio (gameplay, effects, music, etc.)
  2. Local Voice Chat (proximity chat)
  3. Squad Voice Chat
  4. Mic Input (the player’s own microphone)

Benefits:

  • Streamers can still hear all audio normally while having the flexibility to choose which outputs are included in their broadcast.
  • Reduces the risk of violating community guidelines on streaming platforms.
  • Provides more professional-level audio control, benefiting not only streamers but also players who want clean recordings.

This feature would make Squad more content-creator friendly while improving the overall experience for the community.

Thank you for your hard work on developing and managing the server. I hope this suggestion can be considered for the benefit of all players.

Best regards,
[Streamer/Player]
