I’m sure we all know the reason why. BMP is a bit outdated, and I think it would make the Russian Ground Forces a better faction overall if the developers gave them the BMD. It wouldn’t make it unfair, since the ZBD and M2 Bradley’s out way the BMP, not significantly but enough, making it less attractive to choose RAF when having the opposite team as US Army per say. I also think since the VBD has the BMD, it wouldn’t hurt to give it to RAF. BMP would still be a used vehicle, like for MEA but I don’t think one of the best militaries in the world should have “outdated” IFVs, atleast during when Squad time period was set.
