I mean, are you reffering to the minimi or the maximi? Are you talking about firing when bipoded, crouching or standing?

the recoil is the same as any other MG. The problem is the optic alignment when firing. the ADF optic is the worst for that. It was probably a balance thing since they have the 1x-4x optics, but the turkish optic isn't like that so idk.

There is a reason the brits dont generally use optics on the gpmg, in that its not exactly a weapon designed with accuracy in mind.
The MG's both IRL and in squad are for suppression, and they do that role well (better with the last update since you have more control).
But if your wanting pinpint shots, your using the wrong class

majority of western militaries put optics on their MGs. Even for special forces where they have more say of what optic they use, they still use magnified optics.
