ive said this before and it gets some downvotes and i dont get why but here it is again, maybe even reloads like squad 44 they're quicker and more serious.

• CHANGE THE RELOAD MECHANICS
in no way have i ever fired a gun or have any military background, but i feel the reloading in this game for all guns are too calm and methodical. i notice on all the guns when your character picks up a new magazine its like you put it out infront of ur face for a second before loading it in the rifle, wasting precious time. also in cqb your character always reloads at the same speed as if u we’re reloading in main, not in more of a trained rushed matter like you need to asap kill the guy infront of you. maybe add an implementation like insurgency sandstorm where you can double tap r and its more of a speed reload where you need a mag asap if you dont have a pistol or such. on top of the reload speed i would love being able to reload while aiming down sights, so many modern games have this and dont see any downside with it. lastly with reloads like the m4 i know some soldiers do this in real life but for example how your soldier taps the bottom of the magazine after you insert a mag to make sure the bolt is fed. how common is this in real life though? it’s just another second wasted in game.

In addition to my thoughts on the reload mechanics, also change how your character has to have every gun of safety when youre pulling it out to shoot its more time wasted putting it into a fire mode, same thing goes with RPGS having to unload the frag or heat round you just put in when putting it away and with some grenadier kits as well. This also applies to entering an HMG emplacement or MATV or TIGR where you have to rack the handle every time you enter it even if its already ready to fire its just time wasted

ICO PROS: suppression (can be toned down a bit like ur screen goes blurry quickly but i like the idea), some recoil changes, pip scopes (edited)
ICO CONS: still crazy weapon sway and noodle arms, weapon shooting where the barrel is (can at least have it low ready maybe like a keybind) and most recoil (edited)
the community is still split on the ICO since it came out there needs to be something done so both are happy, i barely play anymore unless global escalation

• CHANGE ARMOR AND GUN SIGHTS RANGING
i feel with all armor if applicable you should be able to hold x and scroll wheel to change where your ranging is instead of aiming the gunsight up to hit a target 1000 meters away. something like the pre patched leopard sight you can change what range you’re shooting at for what round or coax. just feel its more realistic. i also feel with handheld weapons if you have a scope you should still be able to hold x and scroll, i could be wrong but if you have an aocg sight and press scroll wheel and x to range it to 400 meters, wouldnt the sight be adjusted as well to shoot 400 meters or is it purely only on iron sights if that makes sense.

the last issue i have with this topic is i feel you should be able to range hmg emplavements. for example with the DSHK you can clearly see the ranging on the iron sights but the game doesn’t allow you to move it up and down to shoot, rather, like armor, you have to point the gun upwards to shoot at the desired range you want.

•GUN-READY MECHANICS
the last thing i can think of now is a keybind to have your gun ready in your shoulder pointing infront of you like EFT or post scriptum while not running or in sprinting. with the addition of ico and barrel-point shooting mechanic it makes it so annoying when i run into an enemy and i start firing my guns shooting to my left where my leg is while im bringing the gun up to shoot directly infront of me

• WORKABLE ATTACHMENTS
you know how the us army has laser sights on a lot of the m4s ect, maybe actually have them work in game and a toggle on off button because of the ICO and how your weapon now shoots wherever the barrel is looking (unlike before when u shoot ur weapon immediately goes center of screen and u can hipfire someone 70 feet away accurately) and it could make it somewhat more accurate in cqb (obviously six weapon sway and spaghetti arms tho)
