#Vehicle and emplacement gets bugged during reload, not allowing to fire

So, the long and short of it is that if in a vehicle or emplacement you interrupt the reload by switching weapons/shell types you get locked out from reloading and firing whatever was being reloaded. I was able to consistently reproduce it in a live game, local and custom server, and this is a pretty game-breaking bug. I will split this into two parts, what I was able to reproduce, of which I have a recording, and what happened in a game, and I was not able to recreate. There were old bugs like this with MBTs, however it was quite rare and you could fix it by simply loading a different shell, this is whole another level.

Firstly the reproducible part.

As said, this happens to essentially everything that has multiple armaments and needs to be manually reloaded. I was able to recreate this on every vehicle and emplacement that I tested (MBT, IFV, APC, even the new M1117), the only exception that I found was 2A28 Grom (BMP/BMD-1 main gun), curiously the SPG-9 did still get bugged. The only way I found that this can be fixed during the game is to reenter the seat (switch seats or get out), but this only fixes whatever was selected before you switched, i.e. if you have multiple things bugged you'll need multiple switches.

Now to what I was not able to consistently reproduce.

  • I could not consistently get bugged the first two shells, however had no problems bugging others
  • During games as a WPMC M60 (of relevant it was manic raas v2 and yeho raas v1) I was not able to fix it on my own. The only consistent way we found was for the other crewman to switch to the gun and load the shell. However I was not able to recreate this behavior.
  • I also had similar issue with a M1151 TOW (also as WPMC) where after reload I couldn't turn, nor fire.

It's like the trigger for loading a round starts (eg loading_ap = true) to stop you from double tapping, but is not properly reset when changing ammo
