Have an outline indicator on the map of the mainbase protection. Maybe a circle outlining main with an orange area near the outside to warn the enemy where close is too close eventually.
This is usefull both for info against main camping and to let the team know where protection beggins.

+1 because we also see FOB radii on the map.
btw: is the main base protection area the same as the FOB exclusion radius for the main base? If yes, then it makes even more sense to mark the main base radius on the map. Maybe with a lighter color, though.

Maybe it would be better if it was only shown while piloting a helicopter so you don’t crash into them? Otherwise the protection outline might just be used for firing from just outside main and also exacerbates how arbitrary they are.
