Its not possible to attach "network storage" to existing pods, you can create a new one to use it

or if you want to add the storage capacity, you can just find the menu button and edit pod increase the disk space there

like i need more space for files in /workspace

Both, depends if youre using /workspace its volume disk

if its outside /workspace then its container disk
