#Getting Started with models, any help is appreciated!

actually we believe most pokemon games make their models/animations in maya and in BDSP case send it to Unity
but any game they sent it to, they arent secretly maya animations isnide, they get converted to their engine specific formats
SCVI uses .tranm
BDSP uses unity's .anim
importing the older game anims is a much m,ore involved process, because its taking the time to retarget animations from one rig to an entirely different one, so its a lot more manual remaking
but if you just want to animate things, ripping it to blender and aniamting it is all you really need to do, then just importing it to unity, creating a bundle, then using uabea to extra the anims and replace the game's ones with your crated ones, can do all that with Uabea dn the unity editor
