Hamon Breathing Gauge Won't Replenish

I accidentally used up my entire gauge while fending off zombies and now it won't replenish. It's just blinking red.

Am I missing something?

I've been trying to breath with MMB but it doesn't replenish at all unlike when I used it before...

Also I'm wearing the hamon mask, maybe that's a factor too?

Crazy diamond dosen't remove the mask itself, hes able to remove the curse of binding from it by using his repair ability

You have to stablize your breathing take one hamon breath and the meter will slowly go up and while wearing the mask the meter goes down unless you breathe hamon every once in a while also meditating will make the meter go up way faster

I did everything and it did not climb back up and was only fixed when I got the mask removed.

you have to continously breathe for it to be brought up

like if its literally empty, at the red shit

you need to manually breathe for it to actually be bigger, the mask just forces you to breathe more often
