From what i can tell its an okay stand power wise u can aslo give blidnness which is annoying but the best part is defiently removing of stands .....Counters for this stand could be just time stop stands and cream starter

But all stands that attack from afar could do the trick

Really? That's so bizarre then. I tested it in my mod pack and and it made the "zip" noise as of it worked but snake never moved and when he did rarely do the animation nothing happened anyways. I thought maybe my modpack was just messed up so I tried it clean with just ripples and the way to heaven add on but it still refused to work. Everything else was fine but Whitesnake couldn't properly use memory disc for some reason.

Morphing and Melt your heart would make WS feel much more "complete." Also maybe if someone could find a way to make remote controlled stands walk similar to the normal player that would be nice for some such as WS.

Whitesnakes ability to give "commands" is such an underrated ability and never gets any love smh. I could see so many applications for it in a survival, PVE experience alone. If a player could for example command a Zombie to guard an area or turn them into a "dog"/companion of sorts through Command Disc's that a WS could use on things whenever needed or wanted it would be such a nice feature for a snake player to have. Especially considering Whitesnakes incredibly boring in survival in its current state.

Hey wanted to say thank you again for the input earlier. It was working as intended I just wasn't noticing because I was so used to the particle affects from the earlier versions.

I wanted to suggest that maybe Whitesnakes disc related attacks could have more "oomph" or better feedback? So far it works perfectly as intended but the only indication that the move landed is the zip sound affect and whitesnake swiping (which sometimes doesn't happen). The disc works nice and all but I guess it just feels "lackluster"? The attack just doesn't "feel" too good.

Maybe switch up the finisher to a melt your heart type thingy (Finisher causing nausea/blindness or weakness maybe)
Holding a standisc in your offhand should forcefully put set disc into target (player)

• Third Attack (New)
A wide swipe with a long windup „Memory disc removal“ (Kinda like The hands scrape thingy)

If set enemy is hit by this attack he receives the following effects,
Nausea,Blindness,weakness,Slowness for a short duration
Attack does moderate dmg, if this attack were to hit a player possessing a stand there should be a slight chance of stealing set stand (maybe broken)

• First ability Block (obvs)

• Second ability
Extract Memory/Stand disc
Ability rn seems fine just to actually hit moving targets is a nightmare, also this ability should remove both discs at the same time so you get the stand disc in your inventory and the player gets the stunned effect
Maybe add better tracking cuz if they only move out of the center of your cursor the ability gets nullified

•Third ability
Removing eyes of self (instant)
Or when shifted of enemy player
(Longer windup) (small dmg) (normal punch animation)

• Fourth ability maybe Disguise
Choose a player on the server and disguise yourself as him or her (Name and appearance)

Also is it possible for whitesnake to go through walls when remote controlling him ?

I would also like to add to this - a hallucination type ability. I'm not sure how it would work, but I want there to be some sort of ability similar to the one that gets used on Jolyne and Jotaro in the visitation rooms where it puts them under some sort of illusion

Also I feel like memory discs should be a physical item, and I also think it should work differently than how it currently does.

And when you steal them it gives the person/mob you stole it from perma-slowness and weakness until the disc is returned. This I think is acceptable to add since the windup to the attack is decently long and its semi-hard to hit, so once you do this is how it should work

If you really want to keep the stun memory disc removal ability, you could have a short term memory disc removal and a long term memory disc removal as seperate abilities

I just personally dont like memory removal as it currently is as it does not seem accurate to the series. Right now it has a windup and if it lands it stuns the enemy for a second or two which is okay... but I would prefer to have a memory steal that is in item form and has more of a jojo accurate effect. And the closest thing I can think of is giving perma slowness and weakness to the target who gets hit by Memory Disc Removal.

The disc item could literally just be a blank white reused stand disc model but with no stand

Haven’t read the thread to much I think a change in that, it stuns for a few seconds, and disables the use of one’s specialization and maybeeee some weakness, not enough to make the fun one sided but gives the ws a huge advantage. It may not be canonical but getting a permanent effect or full stun is fairly unfun imo and can be equivalent to a Time Stop in terms of the Whitesnake just barraging the other player

yeah, the AI system in MC is pretty flexible, but there are still some limitations which aren't that easily bypassed unfortunately
for example, here's iron golem's AI, but for some reason Mojang made it so the DefendVillageTargetGoal can only apply to iron golems, even though it should work with other mobs

Not sure if people are still working on Whitesnake, but what if you could use the memory disc ability (or different ability entirely) on a mob to get a throwable disc that when you throw at another mob they do a certain action (ei: taking a creeper disc, throwing it at a zombie causing the zombie to blow up)

Lots of balancing to be done ofc. Maybe the creeper disc explosion only does 20 or 50 damage or maybe isn't useable on boss mobs and works entirely different on players
