Hello, when i hit the nvg key it doesn't do anything. When i hit the headlamp key, animation plays but sometimes the lamp works and sometimes it doesn't work. I have nightivision upgrade on my binoculars but there are usually no nightvision when i use it. Anyone knows the fix?

to install mods via MO2:

  • download the file as a .zip or .rar or .7z or whatever off ModDB. DO NOT EXTRACT
  • put your downloaded file somewhere you can find it
  • inside MO2, go to File > Install Mod...
  • Find and select your downloaded mod file
  • Click "OK" assuming the name + file structure checks out
    You'll find your new mod at the very very end of your load order (the list of mods)

hey guys, i saw a utuber use the FDDA mod with the original functions like the backpack animations and all that. i think they said they just installed FDDA on their root anomaly game files and he hadnt had any issues using FDDA with all the animations enabled. I tried installing it on my anomaly game as well but MCM still shows the default gamma settings. How do i get around this?

game wont launch please help (the only extra mods I have enabled is unlimited stash weight and the stutter fix). also an error message appears for less than a second when the crash occurs so I cant tell what is happening. This all happened after getting the busy hands glitch which the fix for caused the game to crash still, so I re-enabled the mods it told me to disable, this didn't work so I updated G.A.M.M.A. because I saw the Hotfix announcement, this has lead me here.

Most of the default DOF effects are under Mod Confirguration Menu > SSS Settings > Weapons DOF > disable all the boxes at the bottom or choose what you want.

There are settings to make this blur affect. While reloading, while looking at pda etc. Should be in mcm, but I do not remember where exactly. It is a suboption if i remember correctly

It's the new DOF (Depth Of Field) effect. You can turn it off:

  1. Open the game
  2. Go in Mod Configuration Menu
  3. Search SSS Settings
  4. Disable whatever options you don't like and/or move sliders to the left

It's DOF (depth of field) mod settings. It sometimes bugs a little like that. You don't have to go into PDA to fix that. All you gotta do is ADS (aim down sights) for literally less than a second

Just press R with the ammo in your inventory and if you want to change type of ammo hold Y and select same goes for weapons with mags except they have magazines make sure to add them to load out

Aside from that you'll notice that shooting certain NPC's with the CQC overhaul enabled will immediately CTD because they don't have a skeleton to work with GBOOBS

only fix to run HD models I've found is disabling CQC overhaul (towards the bottom of the list) and enabling DICK and all the patches. Be sure to disable FVM and the FVM nosorog patch or half the models will still render as vanilla. You'll see a mix of HD models and vanilla models but it's worth it to me IMO. @whole jungle not sure if you're aware of this but this has been the only way I've been able to make HD models work on your most recent build. Current instructions on running HD models in the FAQ no longer work.

I found my own workaround sort of, just loading both DICK and HD models, hd models first, and coping with seeing a mish mash of different npc themes. I'm really trying to figure out how to make the CQC overhaul that I think was added recently from crashing instantly. GBOOBS still works fine when it's disabled, don't know why that one specifically causes everything to implode.

@mossy iris I suggest loading HDModels in 378, the DLX HD Models mod in 379. Right before Grok's Armor Exchange. Loading after that will disable your ability to well.. exchange armor, which I find infuriating. Forcing myself to low health again doesn't help

Sometimes looking at certain spots of fog make my game flicker. Not too often, but like 30% of the time when its heavily foggy. Same thing happens when I'm extremely dizzy and screen is flashing white.

(Flicker as in my whole monitor goes black till i turn away from that spot. Need to get rid of dizziness to fix when it happens during that time.)

DX 10, with everything in #old-framerate-optimisation done.

Happens in default list (bar the #old-framerate-optimisation ), also happens when some other extra mods I use are on.

Tried DX8 as well, just happens more frequently with it.

Anything I can do or is this a thing for anything other than DX11?

I'm experiencing crashing when waking up from sleep in the Army Warehouses, in a save where I've had no previous issues in sleeping to morning.

Deviations from the vanilla mod setup as follows:

hey so idk if this belongs in this thread but I tried using the guide to keep your mod and personal settings so you dont have to change them again after updates. for the personal settings i went into anomaly folder> app data> and took out "user.ltx" as told and for mod settings I changed the "G.A.M.M.A. MCM values - Rename to keep your personal changes" in Mod Organizer now im getting this error when i try to update in the gamma installer

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:

  1. Enable Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload) (the mod under "Optional")
  2. Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key (yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind)
  3. Enable Ammo Check (this is a mod as well)
  4. While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM in Settings > Controls > Bindings
  5. After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
    Bonus) You can also enable Mags Buyable at Traders if you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list

KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't disable it in your current save file.

The only 100% safe way to do so is by loading a save where you DON'T have the mod enabled OR by starting a new game WITHOUT Mags Redux.

We also have this POSSIBLE workaround if you want to disable Mags Redux in the middle of your game:

I was newly starting out, as a freedomer near the Army Warehouse. Going northwest towards the Dead City, I encountered the firefight between Mercs and Duty I think.
Then when I shot at what looked like an Exo enemy, the game crashed. I reloaded in, and the same crash happened when I shot at the same Exo enemy.
Edit:
i) Crash also occured when shooting a non-Exo Duty enemy from the same encounter.
ii) crash also occurred when shooting a Merc enemy in the dead city. Seems to trigger upon any enemy being shot

My current modlist has the required mod changes in order to make HD Models work as per BeeetusBoy's guide.
In addition I added the Flashlight and Headlamp mod to extend my lamp range (although the crash occured at daytime, without my lights on)
I activated:
-Turn This on if you stutter
-Mags buyable at traders
Running in DX11. Crashed with and without AVX

Anyone else's game just hard-locking after the last gamma update? I've done full gamma install several times today, ran vanilla and with additional mods (stutter fix modern fonts, etc), and it always seems to just hard-lock. I say "hard-lock" because the game just freezes, and doesn't dump me to desktop or anything. I get zero errors. I have to terminate the game through task manager since it goes "not responding", and never comes back. The hard-locks happen randomly too. Between 5 and 30ish minutes. Sometimes Im just walking down the street, other times I'm engaged with monolith; this last time happened while I was in my inventory. This started happening last night. I'm stumped.

I haven't been able to figure out when it happens or what causes it, but randomly- I'll notice that I don't have a backpack equipped or in my inventory (fully knowing I had one equipped/at least in my inventory)

Quick question regarding backing up the mod list. I've already followed the backup process successfully for the last time I updated GAMMA. My mod list saved the changes I made just fine. To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

well from my many years of working on cars that are twice as old as I am, and many other things that require blind troubleshooting, the best solution I can offer you, since I am not the brightest bulb in the pack, is to try disabling ALL of the new mods on a FRESH, NEW save, and attempt to do what you've been trying to do

if you can transit with all of those new mods disabled, just try enabling one at a time, best way to isolate what causes a CTD

reason for doing this on a new save is because if you disable andtheherois's weapon pack it will break your current save.

just give yourself god mode and set fast travel cost to 0 in MCM to quickly get to the level transition

I think the problem is that i reinstalled whole gamma and anomaly a while ago but i haven't kept the modlist, so the modlist i use now can vary a little bit from the modlist i used before reinstallation

What I did: Swapped out my pistol for the Howa rifle, and walked into the main area of the Miracle Machine (where it starts to spawn a lot of enemies and you need to escape).
This does not happen when it's unequipped on the same save.

Right-click on HD Models, and open in explorer. Go to gamedata, meshes, actors, stalker_greh, and rename stalker_greh_trader.ogf to stalker_greh_dazhbog.ogf

@summer dragon I have HD models, a mercenary remodel, the dynamic NPC armor, a kriss vector, fight my foes, immersive companion distance, and the hip update. that's all the additional mods.

I also disabled gamma economy and enabled trader overhaul.

Full GAMMA Installation does NOT remove saves, nor does it mean you are redownloading everything and it won't delete anything at all.
A full install will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall and fix them, and any that need to be updated will be updated.

To Perform this follow these steps:
1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. installer as admin
2. Click "Download G.A.M.M.A. data"
3. Click "Full G.A.M.M.A. installation"
