Yeah this happens when you do a reinstall/reverification of the mods via GAMMA, I had a properly working game and then when I checked files just with MD5 ticked, it broke the mossberg rail variable

I'm trying to launch the game, it won't launch. No error codes. Splash image for monolith engine shows and then it just quits. Only happened after new windows update. Tried DX11 and DX11(AVX). Tried through Anomaly launcher, no luck. Stalker Anomaly boots up just fine... Did a reinstall of mods, no luck.

Is this intended lighting balance in interiors during night time? I tried to adjust darkness with amb, but it only works during day time. Also, I tired to tune gamma and brightness and it helps to brighten the scene but also it becomes washed out. Having troubles with 3DSS mod download or the mod itself is busted?

1. Download the mod manually from this link
2. Place it into [Your Gamma]\downloads folder, replace if needed.
3. Open Gamma Launcher and press Install/Update GAMMA

IF it's your first installation, leave all boxes CHECKED.
If your mod is busted, UNTICK Check MD5 and Force git download (OR follow instructions provided by a Helper)

I used the debug tool to noclip, in casse he's stuck under the map, no luck.

When I saved before I would name the save 1.1 (I like my saves organized like this), but now I just tried the word "one" instead and it worked, then tried 1.1 again and crashed. Anyone know about a bug that causes a crash when entering a specific map? I've been getting this since the update. Any time I go into the swamps the game crashes. Looking around online, others have had the exact same bug, with the exception of the specific location being different. One guy can't enter Limansk, another can't get to Yantar, etc. Can anyone help at all? I'd appreciate any advice/suggestions. Yeah, I've been working on exactly this for a couple days now. As far as I can tell, nobody here on the Discord or over on Reddit has figured it out yet. Heck, even Grok weighed in suggesting to disable Deer Hunter as 338 Federal, and AK ISG Makeover, but I've tried both, and still it persists.

Other suggested possible solutions from various sources:

• Use old save fixes
• Reinstall FVM Nosorog Models
• Sleeping for a week

I'm only a SoC/ZRP guy, but you have an empty or missing string in a configuration (*.ltx) file. From your error report, the string is S and the failing test "S && strlen(S)" is for an existing string that is not zero-length.

In SoC, k_dist is only found in gamedata\config\weapons\weapons.ltx as a modifier for each ammo's maximum distance.

There might be something in the log file above the error message. I don't know if all of Anomaly/Gamma ammo definitions are in the same file in the same place, but one or more of your ammo object definitions is either missing a line starting with k_dist or it has such a line but it doesn't have a value assigned to k_dist (example: just "k_dist = ").

Since you were able to play the game until Pripyat, there may be some NPC with a weapon taking a special ammo type that was not previously seen in your game. That ammo type's k_dist line or assignment is missing. See other definitions in the same file for examples of what is expected.

Looking at that last one, if that user is right, in theory it should be possible to trial-and-error disabling one weapon/ammo mod at a time until it stops crashing. That is, however, time consuming.

Anyway, that's where I'm at now, and I'll for sure post any positive results, but in the meantime if anyone wiser than I could help shed some light on this, it would be much appreciated.

3. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A. and wait for the install process to be done;

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.
• If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..

In case someone is also a DX9 enjoyer and got the wpn_rpk_16_drum missing error (crash when travelling through Jupiter to Outskirts), here's how i fixed it (credit to Piglet):

1. Go to your gamma/mods folder, and look for "439- The Covenant Weapon Pack for DX9 - TCWP Team" (439, NOT 429. that's for the dx11 version)
2. Go to gamedata/meshes/anomaly_weapons
3. Create a copy of the "wpn_rpk16" folder, and rename that copy to "wpn_rpk16_drum"
4. That's it, should be fixed!

k. i have to delete all the files again and re zip everything. it shows in the launcher that its all up to date right now but thats just because i did the install twice to get all the mods showing up. it goes from saying version file not found to up to date when i do that. so gimme a lil bit of time and ill take a snapshot of what it looks like. if you can find a fix for me that would be amazing. and also, the game only crashes if i change the resolution to the highest one.

@steady charm To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. Launcher as admin;
2. Make sure all 4 checkboxes are enabled;
3. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A. and wait for the install process to be done;
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.
• If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..
