This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.

I updated GAMMA after not touching it for a long time. I have 518 mods in MO2 and running DX11-AVX. GAMMA is launched with admin rights but when I press "Run" the game loads but then doesn't start. I fixed this once by doing a clean install but I turned on "Turn this on if you stutter" and now the game won't start again. Do I need to do a clean install again?

I have tried to install/update but that doesn't work either.

Hello, there is a grain filter in my screen since this week. It wasn't there before. It is not the grain from radiation. I saw somewhere that it was because of SSAO but the filter remains no matter what I do. I'd like to know if there's a fix for this or if I can make a clean install of gamma without losing my modlist and my MCM settings ?

Have you tried to opent he launcher,uncheck the "Force zip extraction" or download or what it says then install/update? that fixes the failed downloads, i had 444 when i installed then that fixed it.

As for custom res idk, i think it's better to stick to the ingame settings and preset resolutions. I too tried optimizing before but got better results with preset stuff

the first time i was having a lot of problems but after a fresh install and using the optional downloadsmm-dd.7z file i managed to get it at the 517 addon in 2 tries.
but now i cant get the last add on.

as for the resolution i am using a asus laptop to play GAMMA and it has an integrated gpu with a Ryzen 5 5500U cpu.
the native res is full HD but i have to go down to 1366x768 or a little bit less to get steady fps around 50 so i was playing around with that custom res option.

As for your launcher, it seems up to date,but again did you manually add some files to its folder to update it like you did with the downloads zip?

1. Open console with ~ or \ and type rs_stats 1 (pops a little FPS counter in the upper left corner of the screen along with other info)
2. Use external FPS counters like NVIDIA Overlay, MSI Afterburner, etc.

Try any one of these at a time (in no particular order) to see if it helps:

1. Update G.A.M.M.A. to the latest version (open GAMMA Launcher with admin rights, click on Install / Update)
2. Bring your modlist back to default (type !default in #🤖bot-commands )
3. If you have a NVIDIA GPU, you can enable Triple Buffering, and set Low Latency Mode to Ultra in NVIDIA control panel
4. Open Anomaly Launcher via MO2 and tick Prefetch sounds
5. If you have a beefy GPU, use Anomaly (DX11) (no avx)
6. Activate the Turn this on if you stutter mod to alleviate stutters while losing some FPS

The Anonymous guy who gives the RF Reciever quests told me that the package was in the "Wastern" region of Dead City, and I was quite confused for a while but apparently this means eastern because that's where I found it. @grizzled turtle If you are failing to download all the mods and still don't have #📍577-mods-in-mo2, then ensure you are doing the mandatory steps below:

• Completely disable your antivirus software for the duration of installation. Do not enable it again until you have a working install. For more information, go to #🤖bot-commands and type !antivirus;
• Exclude both your Anomaly and Gamma folders in Windows Defender. To learn how to do this, go to #🤖bot-commands and type !defender;
• Once the above steps are done, ensure you have the latest launcher as seen in #💽how-to-update and start it as administrator.

If the above steps still do not solve your issue, then verify your hosts file by going to #🤖bot-commands and typing !hosts. If that still does not work then connect to a VPN and try again.

If none of that works, then make sure your game is installed at the root of whatever drive you are using, e.g.: C:\Gamma, D:\Gamma - notice that there are no periods between the letters...

Do not install on an external hard drive!

1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. Launcher as admin;
2. Make sure all 4 checkboxes are enabled;
3. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A. and wait for the install process to be done;
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.
• If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..

Turn your anti virus and firewall off (Defender, McAfee, Norton, etc) temporarily to just update / download the GAMMA mods and when done, turn it back on.
