@copper shadow To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.

1. Download the mod manually from this link

• Set it to run in DX9 mode and get it to launch into the game menu;
• You'll have to follow a guide on how to run Gamma in DX9 mode (502 mods will be enabled. If not done - you'll get gun scope errors when launching a game);
• If it fails to enter the main menu - restart with deleting shader cache and if nothing works - check an option reset user.ltx;
• after loading into game menu, try running a new game. If u get LoadTextureFromTexture error - open graphics settings and decrease the texture quality sliders until they're somewhere below 1. I've also fully decreased mipmap settings and anisotropic filtering to be safe, but the high texture quality was the thing that somehow caused the texture from texture crash

Turn your anti virus and firewall off (Defender, McAfee, Norton, etc) temporarily to just update / download the GAMMA mods and when done, turn it back on.

3. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A. and wait for the install process to be done;
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

Having troubles with 3DSS mod download or the mod itself is busted?

1. Download the mod manually from this link
2. Place it into [Your Gamma]\downloads folder, replace if needed.
3. Open Gamma Launcher and press Install/Update GAMMA

IF it's your first installation, leave all boxes CHECKED.
If your mod is busted, UNTICK Check MD5 and Force git download (OR follow instructions provided by a Helper)

Looks like proton just fails to compile shaders properly. Wine manages it smoothly, everything does run. I can launch Gamma using proton, without deleting the shader cache after they've been compiled by wine. Once cache deleted - proton fails to run Gamma again. So I assume there's some configuration issue, or I should just copy the entire installation over to proton's drive_c

Usually it works, unless there's some edge-case and a system call checking for .isDirectory() fails

The error comes because the pre 0.9.3.1 save "fix" is just new tasks addon ver 0.2, being used at the same time as new tasks addon 0.4, and that error is that mod breaking because both versions are being used at once

Remove zoom on right-click (ADS):

Mod Config Menu -> Free Zoom -> set ADS multiplier to 1
Remove FOV change on equipping pistols:
Mod Config Menu -> Free Zoom -> set pistol multiplier to 1
Sidenote: Check your HUD and HUD FOV sliders in Settings>Visual>Basic and set them back to default if Free Zoom messed them up.

Having troubles with 3DSS mod download or the mod itself is busted?

1. Download the mod manually from this link
2. Place it into [Your Gamma]\downloads folder, replace if needed.
3. Open Gamma Launcher and press Install/Update GAMMA

IF it's your first installation, leave all boxes CHECKED.
If your mod is busted, UNTICK Check MD5 and Force git download (OR follow instructions provided by a Helper)

4. Wait for the install to end.

I haven't tried every gun, but I noticed it with the shotgun mentioned (MP-155 when I tried using an ACOG with it) and the Barret M98B. The only mods I use on top of Gamma are Trader Overhaul or Black Market, I switch it up based on my mood, the 0.9.3.1 fix, Angry Chimera Growl, Get out of my way you stupid NPC, QuickActionWheel, and Anomalous Stash. The last two I manually downloaded and added. But like I said, it happens with or without those 2 anyways.

oh and it happens with the SV98, the scope that comes with the rifle

If you have "dubious ownership" error, do the following:

1. First close the GAMMA launcher.

I have an Anomaly question but it's related to GAMMA.
I need to do a fresh install of GAMMA, which now requires Anomaly 153. The standalone file is 9GB+ which would take around 7hrs to download on my connection.
I have Anomaly 151, and an incremental 151-152 zip. is there a 152-153 zip I could download to save a bunch of time and bandwidth?
EDIT: I went into Anomaly discord and was told that the only way to get 1.5.3 is by downloading the full standalone zip. Should I delete this or leave it up, in case someone else has a similar quetion in the future?

@undone meadow what i usually do to help with stuttering is to open the task manager, click on more options and go to details. right click on anomaly and click set affinity and untick cpu 0. you will have to do this every time you start up gamma but it can help a bit

Unless I’m mistaken, normally the stashes that appear on the PDA are ones that you go coordinates for because of completing tasks etc. If you want to mark your own stash that you made, you could place a marker using the PDA. (I say this admittedly not knowing if there’s an option in the MCM to enable icons for self-filled stashes.

You can play it if you really want to, but forget about #🔨base-gamma-support, this channel support is only for G.A.M.M.A. vanilla (which basically means no extra stuff at all) and is also used by Grok for bug fixing.
Since G.A.M.M.A. vanilla doesn't use Warfare, you'll need to use #🔨modded-gamma-support.

@wicked bluff To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

1. Collapse the categories in MO2, by sorting mods by Priority and close the categories by using the arrows on the left side (first picture for reference below).
2. Screenshot your MO2 by using Shift + Win + S.
