I can confirm to you it works, had the same problem 2 days ago when i tried to fix the loading-CTD with a new installation πŸ™‚ After installing everythin i had 396 mods in MO2, after following i403 i had the correct ammount of 444. ...unfortunately the CTD shit happens regardles of the fresh installation lol. somethings wrong since the update...

Hello Team, I played for a day and now I can't start the game anymore.

  1. Start Gamma launcher.
  2. Press Play.
  3. Mo2 goes up und i press Run.
  4. Anomaly Launcher goes up.
  5. I press Play.
  6. Game will start but there is an Error.

@fathom island i did a complete fresh installation and followed the steps and it just worked out fine... after that i put my savegames and 'MCM values' folders back in place and everything worked... ...besides the CTD stuff of course 😐

Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

Got some trouble installing the latest update/Updating from the last version.

I am getting thrown the 'Filepath is too long' error. In turn I tried to move my Gamma Installation files to F:\Gamma, instead of using F:\Anomaly 1.5.1\MODS DL\GAMMA RC3. (Which has worked before just fine)

But even while copying the RC3 Folder over to F:\Gamma am I getting an error that the filepath in gamedata is too long.

Stuck at around 396-400 mods downloaded? Try the steps below:

  1. Download the file from one of the archives below:
  1. Go to your GAMMA folder and delete the downloads folder
  2. Using 7Zip, extract downloads10-30.7z into the GAMMA folder

The RIGHT way of extracting the archive : Right click on the archive -> 7zip -> Extract files -> Choose your [Gamma directory], REMOVE the check mark on this step, this is mandatory. At the end you should get downloads folder (NOT downloads10-30)

  • Increase texture detail to 3/4 or 4/4, or enter texture_lod 0 in the in-game console, and then restart the game.

If the steps from above didn't work, try this fix instead:

  1. Download the mod from #πŸ”¨base-gamma-support message
  2. In Mod Organizer 2, click on File -> Install mod
  3. Find wherever you saved the Jubs_Low_Texture_Red_Dots.rar file.
  4. Click β€œOK”. Name it however you want. It will be at the very end of the mod list.
  5. Enable this mod.

howsit , i need help with my Anomaly gamma, i tried updating and or install clusterplays latest video(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNFxq_fOvrg&t=294s) on his mods to get the same look , but i just cant get it to work properly ... i get an error code from shaders when launching the game, and telling me to use YT for tutorials is BS , most of them are outdated and missleading .. anyhelp or suggested video ?? would be much appreciated

if you enable reshade it'll show fps for you (press home and check settings for hotkey, seems to work by default for me) otherwise you'll need RTSS probably

Three ways to see a fps counter:

  1. Open console with ~ or \ and type rs_stats 1 (pops a little FPS counter in the upper left corner of the screen along with other info)
  2. Use external FPS counters like NVIDIA Overlay, MSI Afterburner, etc.
  3. Re-enable Reshade by following !reshade command in #πŸ€–bot-commands (Reshade does take some FPS away, so it's up to you)

Hey guys I have quite a peculiar problem. I decided to start a bandit run and picked desert eagle as my go to sidearm. Everything was fine untill a couple days back when I decided to upgrade it via Nimble to "Stepe Eagle" Variant. From that point onwards every single time I try to pull it out my game crashes. I can put it anywhere but whenever I decide to put it back in my inventory the game crashes...

hey y'all. just updated the game to the newest version 0.9.2. I wasn't finding any launcher updates either. I confirmed my game has 444 mods. deleted shader cache and restored default user. I go to start a new game, get my new character all set up, click start, I get as far as the start of a loading screen then the game crashes and gives me this error. its been this same error consistently, but its one I've never seen before. any ideas?

it replaces the mods that where downloaded one by one from moddb, which has issues right now, by the mods contained in the zip file, so as long as the zipfile did not fail to download correctly and its extracted properly it works

Can somebody help me figure out where to put my backed up save files in the GAMMA folder? I reinstalled the game from scratch and saved my savedgames folder, but I'm not sure where to paste those backups in the game folder. Remove zoom on right-click (ADS):

Mod Config Menu -> Free Zoom -> set ADS multiplier to 1
Remove FOV change on equipping pistols:
Mod Config Menu -> Free Zoom -> set pistol multiplier to 1
Sidenote: Check your HUD and HUD FOV sliders in Settings>Visual>Basic and set them back to default if Free Zoom messed them up.
Default values are as follows:
FOV: 80
HUD FOV: 0.65

A couple of questions for you:

  1. Do you have exactly #πŸ“577-mods-in-mo2 (read channel name)?
  2. Are you using latest GAMMA launcher, not the installer? (in \.Grok's Modpack Installer\) (version 6.4 is the newest)
  3. Do you see any ❌ in MO2 under Flags next to any mods (like the image)?

Hello everyone, I need help urgently.

I need to format my computer but I don't want to lose my save and my settings in the gamma mods, it took me days to get it the way I like it and I didn't want to have to configure it mod by mod. If I backup the Anomaly and Gamma folder, do the settings and saves work normally after formatting?
