3. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A. and wait for the install process to be done;
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.
• If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..

Its always a risk.
Playing any modpack, carries the risk of having to start a new game, because something new that was added is no longer compatible with the old save.

If the save was created back in gamma version 0.8, then you will definitely have to start a new game.

3. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A. and wait for the install process to be done;
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.
• If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..

• Completely disable your antivirus software for the duration of installation. Do not enable it again until you have a working install. For more information, go to #🤖bot-commands and type !antivirus;
• Exclude both your Anomaly and Gamma folders in Windows Defender. To learn how to do this, go to #🤖bot-commands and type !defender;
• Once the above steps are done, ensure you have the latest launcher as seen in #💽how-to-update and start it as administrator.

2. Make sure all 4 checkboxes are enabled;
3. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A. and wait for the install process to be done;
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.
• If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..

hi, could someone help me with this issue please.
first playthrough, after a LOT of trial and error I finally got an SKS fully repaired, and found a scope for it, but it won't magnify AT ALL.

I tested other scopes (up to 4x magnification) and none of them work. I posted a screen-cap of the issue on the subreddit, but I dunno if I'm allowed to post links here. I got a couple replies there but none of them fixed it.

I've got a strange issue, that I've never encountered before. New game, played without issues. After my first psystorm ended the sky became super bright and this just hasn't gone away. mod config menu -> beef's nvgs -> lower the 3rd setting (world brightness offset) to the minimum. then you can play around with min and max gain

but just doing that will help a lot

For some reason sometimes npcs are missing their dropped weapon in their inventory after death

• F-1 grenades (100%)
• Nosorog exoskeletons (85%)

  To avoid the despawn your Scavenging skill has to be level 17 or higher.

Additionally, in order to loot an outfit or a helmet from a body a certain rank value is required. The requirement is almost negligible, rank value as small as 7000 is enough to meet a rank requirement for any equipment.

hello. my game always stutters. it runs smooth for like 2 seconds, then freezes for 2-5secs, then resumes smooth and high fps before repeating.
i enabled the stutter mod, didnt help. changed settings, didnt help, got CPUaffinity thing, didnt help. i have no idea whats causing this. whats confusing to me is how the game can run so nice and smooth before just completely freezing

Try any one of these at a time (in no particular order) to see if it helps:

1. Update G.A.M.M.A. to the latest version (open GAMMA Launcher with admin rights, click on Install / Update)
2. Bring your modlist back to default (type !default in #🤖bot-commands )
3. If you have a NVIDIA GPU, you can enable Triple Buffering, and set Low Latency Mode to Ultra in NVIDIA control panel
4. Open Anomaly Launcher via MO2 and tick Prefetch sounds
5. If you have a beefy GPU, use Anomaly (DX11) (no avx)
6. Don't use the Turn this on if you stutter mod
7. Consider looking at #╰⚡fps-optimisation for a performance boost, if that channel is locked go here to unlock: #⏩start-confirm

Yep, if your legs are too damaged and you sprint, you will take damage due to your leg essentially being wounded/broken

Use bandages, and then post heal using other meds like Ibuprofen or Yadulin

Drink + heal your leg (bandage > yadulin or ibuprofen)

If you hover over the meds in your inventory, you can see how it will effect your current limb health. Bandages and tourniquets are the cheapest to pre-heal, and follow up with other post-heal items

You can try on DX11, but if you get something like "GPU has been suspended", then you reboot OR your laptop doesn't jive with DX11 GAMMA at all

I have played in this STALKER GAMMA for about 9 hours. I am ready to say my honest review.
Firstly: People who keep saying that stalker gamma is already stalker 2, its definitely not.
Modders converted game from stalker to tarkow with broken economic.

Thats really "realistic" when:

• every person you kill have broken weapons and armor.
• any medicine cost like too much. Some characters will pay you 10k< for hard quest where you will be injured 3 times and will spend 15k on medicine then.
• artifacts have durability - i was laughing hard (obviously its syntenic way to adjust economy)

Thats really "fun":

• weapon partitioning system which gives you 0 new content but instead simply makes weapons part of the game annoying
• you find artifacts which cost less then 1/3 of bandage
• you cant sell anything in bad condition, but as i said before, everything you will find in a bad condition.

This "game" feels like bunch of people with 0 experience in game dev tried to make "dream stalker". But what they really does is just made it harder then ever with broken economic, missions in style "bring me this, come there, find that, etc."

A lot new mechanics which are serve no purpose globally, they simply exists to make some simple tasks harder.
Artifact which makes your bullets blow up with some chance? Are you serious right now?)

**And finally:**

Thats not even stalker, it feels like looter shooter which uses stalker ambient.

This was second "community stalker" i have played. I would say first was better,
because it was STALKER, and it really tries to show us some situations which were part of original games,
but we only heard them from other NPSs (It was Stalker Spatial anomaly).

1. Dont start in Hard Survivalist while you know jackshit about the game mechanics
2. Economy is made for long progression, not 15h play through.
3. 9h is nothing you barely scratched the surface.
4. you most likely didn’t understand how to repair guns.
5. you can sell plenty of items to make money, just not guns and just looted defense artefacts
6. this game has tons of replayability and the economy makes every play though completely different.
7. artefact causing chance based explosion, yes, and you complain about it ? Just learn to use it maybe.
8. yes it’s very different from base stalker games. Yet it has all the stalker elements, with a twist. I don’t see the problem about it.

10. you are the only one thinking GAMMA tries to be STALKER 2. Its not, its a completely different logic. STALKER 2 will release, people will finish it in 25h and then comeback to GAMMA again for another 100h+ hours or even more.

12. artefacts aren’t dangerous to get. Or if they are that’s just cause you don’t have the gear to get them. And some artefacts can net you 50k RU easily, you just need to work on them.
