I get the reputation from doing it after talking to the ecologists when I get back to the base, but the marker is still there, quest is still there, ecologists are still following me and every time I talk to them I get the same quest completed dialogue. The only fix I found was to kill the ecologist followers for the mission

1) While in game, press F12, go inside Anomaly\appdata\screenshots. If the screenshot isn't there, look in your GAMMA RC3 folder, inside a folder called overwrite
2) Press PRTSC (Print Screen on your keyboard) open Paint, CTLR + V to paste the pic, save it, send it
3) Windows key + Shift + S, which lets you choose what part of the screen you want to take, it will directly copy the pic for you so all you'll have to do is just CTRL + V in the chat.

How to change fast travel settings (cost, time passing, etc.):
When in game, go to Mod Configuration Menu -> Fair Fast Travel and tweak settings there. By default, fast travel costs money and causes hunger/thirst to rise while guided fast travel allows you to travel while overencumbered, and does not cause hunger/thirst to rise.

P.S.: with debug mode enabled, you can teleport to stashes, level transitions and other map spots by right clicking on them when you check the map on your PDA. You will have to enable Travel to map debug spots in Fair Fast Travel's settings first. This can be deadly, use with caution.

2. Make sure all 4 checkboxes are enabled;
3. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A. and wait for the install process to be done;
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

Please, is reshade (hippo) disabled by default (its effects)? Or what is disabled is just the option of pressing HOME to display the menu/settings within the game, but the standard Hippo effects in Gamma are already activated?

If you have "dubious ownership" error, do the following:

1. First try to close the Gamma launcher, and run it as administrator again, click install/update and see if the error is gone.
2. If it doesn’t work, close Gamma launcher and go to GAMMA/Grok's modpack installer/resources and run git-bash.exe as administrator.
3. Copy and paste the indicated command line from the gamma launcher black window ('git config --global --add ...') to the git-bash.exe window and press enter. (picture for reference below.)

• Note: Pay attention to what you copy, if the line has spaces in-front, or is missing characters at the end, the fix will not work.

4. Now close the git-bash and run GAMMA Launcher as administrator again and click install.

Tried it, still the same error

Prowled around the interwebs and saw that someone else had this same problem a year or so ago and posted it on reddit. Apparently a Windows Update was what caused the problem - gonna rollback to a previous Windows version and see if that fixes it.

Hey guys, I'm having an issue where I've accepted a quest from Captain Gavrilenko somehow (I often take quests using the pda taskboard). The problem is that this npc has custom chat options and I can't turn in my quest.

I've dug up about a command on the debug menu

task_manager.get_task_manager():set_task_completed("collect_freedom_faction_patch_x4"), that's exactly the name of the quest, but it doesnt seem to work. (yes, i'm using the f7 - 0 console)

What can I do to remove this quest from my pda so I don't freak out about an impossible to turn in quest? xD

4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.
• If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..

Open Windows Command Prompt (CMD) by pressing WINDOWS KEY + R and typing CMD, then press CTRL + SHIFT + ENTER

Then input this into the window: sfc /scannow & DISM /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth & sfc /scannow

Post the results afterwards by copying the contents of the CMD window by pressing CTRL + A then CTRL + C then making a new Text Document on your desktop and pasting the result in the text document. Send it to the person helping you.

Hey, i got random drops to 40 fps in certain locations and its really annoying. I tried just about everything to fix it. I got 16gb ram, R5 1600X, RTX 4060 8gb. If you have "dubious ownership" error, do the following:

Has anyone experienced FPS drops when looking down, at certain dynamic objects, or while speeding through reeds in swamps? Before this, everything was fine with SSS20; even after the December update, I could play at 60 FPS on high settings with ReShade and retextures. But after disabling SSS20 and using the stock gamma with 443 mods, nothing really changed. Now, I'm getting a maximum of 50 unstable FPS.

im having a really weird issue with Mod Organizer

i was able to play yesterday without any problem until today where it says my antivirus is not letting it launch stalker, yet i already have it excluded and no matter what i do, i can't launch it

Instead, do this:

1) Go to GAMMA RC3\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_patches\appdata
2) Copy the user.ltx file you'll find in there.
3) Go to Anomaly\appdata and paste the user.ltx there, and replace it.

Idk man, that depends on the pc, but they will be way longer compared to ssd. Since gamma has 443 mods it has to load a lot of resources. It may even cause stuttering mid gameplay when the game has to load something

the only way to know is to try it for yourself, and then decide whether it bothers you I guess

Getting like 90-130 FPS. Game is somewhat smooth, mouse movement is somewhat choppy, and I stutter here and there. I understand its not going to be PERFECT but I see other people with smooth gameplay but im pretty sure thats just the recording of the video that shows their gameplay being smooth.

Anyone else running into these issues?

3. If you have a NVIDIA GPU, you can enable Triple Buffering, and set Low Latency Mode to Ultra in NVIDIA control panel
4. Open Anomaly Launcher via MO2 and tick Prefetch sounds
5. If you have a beefy GPU, use Anomaly (DX11) (no avx)
6. Don't use the Turn this on if you stutter mod
7. Consider looking at #╰⚡fps-optimisation for a performance boost, if that channel is locked go here to unlock: #⏩start-confirm

Im having a problem with the way Gamma is opening. Every time i try and start it, it will window me into the gamma main menu, but for split seconds it will turn to black, like when you window out of a fullscreen application or when you accidentally touch an HDMI cable. The sparatic black screen persists until i try and load a game. I tried loading the debug menu F2 world and the same thing happened. Its a fresh install, so im not worried about reinstalling, but does anyone know a fix?
