Hey loners. Completed the install per instructions, have 443 mods, am running base gamma. This is not the first time I have installed gamma. It is a clean install. I have had no further issues than the following; my flashlights are broken, and it seems to be at the light source, though i am not well versed in anything technical. Handheld and headlamp both have animations, both have audioFX, but no light. Handheld is in detector slot, batteries in, batteries have been removed and placed back in, it is equipped (red battery indicator), keybinds are pressed for flashlight, no light. Headlamp is similar; its in slot, batteries (no red indicator) and when I press the keybind for flashlight the animation of reaching up to your forehead to turn it on activates, no light. Super debilitating as i cant even stumble to a bed in the dark to pass my first night, gonna try glowsticks on next relaunch. Help would be much appreciated - I just dont understand why the light would be broken on fresh install.

Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

I think I am having a similar issue, have tried updating several times and everytime I try to load a save I get one of these two errors. What mod are they from? Do I need to do the same thing and overwrite the problematic mods. Thanks! Hey all, just wanted to put here that the CPU Core affinity in the FAQ for performance actually does the opposite of increasing FPS, I have an RTX 4090, AMD RYZEN73800X Cpu and 97gb of ram. I did this tip to hopefully just smoothen things out more. Instead it drops my FPS from 90 fps to 30 and completely freezes the game every single action. If you have "dubious ownership" error, do the following:

1. First try to close the Gamma launcher, and run it as administrator again, click install/update and see if the error is gone.

3. Copy and paste the indicated command line from the gamma launcher black window ('git config --global --add ...') to the git-bash.exe window and press enter. (picture for reference below.)

• Increase texture detail to 3/4 or 4/4, or enter texture_lod 0 in the in-game console, and then restart the game.

If the steps from above didn't work, try this fix instead:

1. Download the mod from #🔨base-gamma-support message
2. In Mod Organizer 2, click on File -> Install mod
3. Find wherever you saved the Jubs_Low_Texture_Red_Dots.rar file.
4. Click “OK”. Name it however you want. It will be at the very end of the mod list.
5. Enable this mod.

If you have "dubious ownership" error, do the following:

1. First try to close the Gamma launcher, and run it as administrator again, click install/update and see if the error is gone.
2. If it doesn’t work, close Gamma launcher and go to GAMMA/Grok's modpack installer/resources and run git-bash.exe as administrator.
3. Copy and paste the indicated command line from the gamma launcher black window ('git config --global --add ...') to the git-bash.exe window and press enter. (picture for reference below.)

• Note: Pay attention to what you copy, if the line has spaces in-front, or is missing characters at the end, the fix will not work.

4. Now close the git-bash and run GAMMA Launcher as administrator again and click install.
5. You might have to repeat these steps for the next 2 git folders, aka:

2) Copy these four folders (check pic)
3) Go to your Anomaly folder
4) Paste these four folders (check pic)
5) Overwrite/replace all if asked
6) Go to your \Anomaly\bin folder and delete d3d9.dll and dxgi.dll files.
It won't delete your save files.

Because before I complete the X-16 mission, the game only took a couple seconds to load, but after the X-16 mission, it took me almost 5 minutes to load the game

If you have "dubious ownership" error, do the following:

1. First try to close the Gamma launcher, and run it as administrator again, click install/update and see if the error is gone.
2. If it doesn’t work, close Gamma launcher and go to GAMMA/Grok's modpack installer/resources and run git-bash.exe as administrator.
3. Copy and paste the indicated command line from the gamma launcher black window ('git config --global --add ...') to the git-bash.exe window and press enter. (picture for reference below.)

Hi guys, I've an issue I'm recently encountering. Lately, enemies I come across, disappear then reappear in short distances around me. This is occurring with npcs and mutants alike. I just came across where a zombie was walking around and it kept relocating as if it was newly spawning in. It's gotten to the point where I cant play cause they keep "spawning".

Side Note: I did enable the mags redux mod (followed the guide) during my playthrough. Don't know if that makes a difference or not, but thought I'd throw that in there

Just checked anomaly now, it goes into main menu no problem and my launcher version is 6.0

2. Make sure all 4 checkboxes are enabled;
3. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A. and wait for the install process to be done;
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.
• If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..

I've done a fresh install twice now and I can't get the game to load past the start new game loading screen. It always crashes with an error, but every reinstall gives a different error. Here's the one I got now, anyone know what I need to fix it?

To manually reinstall problematic mods do this:

1. Go to the link(s) the Helper has provided above (or below).
2. Download the mod file(s) from moddb. DO NOT EXTRACT.
3. Place every archive you downloaded into your \GAMMA\downloads folder. Overwrite if needed.
4. Run the GAMMA Launcher as admin.
5. Uncheck/Disable:

• Check MD5
• Force git download

6. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A.

Remove zoom on right-click (ADS):

Mod Config Menu -> Free Zoom -> set ADS multiplier to 1
Remove FOV change on equipping pistols:
Mod Config Menu -> Free Zoom -> set pistol multiplier to 1
Sidenote: Check your HUD and HUD FOV sliders in Settings>Visual>Basic and set them back to default if Free Zoom messed them up.
Default values are as follows:
FOV: 80
HUD FOV: 0.65
