Do you want to enable/disable reshade?
To re-enable reshade type !k98 in #🤖bot-commands.
To fully disable it after having it enabled by the launcher or !k98, go to your \Anomaly\bin folder and delete d3d9.dll and dxgi.dll. Alternatively, to temporarily disable it, tap the PAGE UP/PgUp button on your keyboard.

Accidentally set my zcp settings too high...mistakes were made. Squads are huge and base populations are enormous. Any way I can speed up the squads getting back to normal size? Or should I reset my playthrough. This happened quite awhile ago in saves.

i got gamma installed and found that now you need to add shader support since its not on by default and apparently you need to untick "delete reshade dlls" for that to work

i untick it and hit the Install / Update GAMMA button and it seems to fail with this window

To manually reinstall problematic mods do this:

2. Download the mod file(s) from moddb. DO NOT EXTRACT.
3. Place every archive you downloaded into your \GAMMA\downloads folder. Overwrite if needed.
4. Run the GAMMA Launcher as admin.

The thing you download from the link I gave you is an archive. Basically a packed folder full of files. Just drag that file into your gamma/downloads folder like the instructions say.

Starting a new game in dead city does not cause a crash.

I put the PDA Hotkey on "J" and the Map/PDA Hotkey on "M" only works with M but there he first zooms in and zooms out again instantly and i have to zoom in again. "J" is not functional at all because he instantly puts it away again. Any idea how to fix that?

does anyone know what about warfare in Gamma makes it not work correctly. I read far above that it was unsupported, so I was wondering what Gamma does to it. It worked fine* in vanilla anomaly but every time I try it in Gamma my fps goes down to 15 or less after about 30 minutes.

@spring jasper G.A.M.M.A. isn't built with Warfare in mind and Warfare, per se, have bad perfomance, bugs, issues, etc., this is why it isn't recommended.
You can play it if you really want to, but forget about #🔨base-gamma-support, this channel support is only for G.A.M.M.A. vanilla (which basically means no extra stuff at all) and is also used by Grok for bug fixing.
Since G.A.M.M.A. vanilla doesn't use Warfare, you'll need to use #🔨modded-gamma-support.

Hi there, i have a question about microstutter. I am limiting my fps to 120fps, but with that i have a permanent micro stuttering. When i use the frametime graph in rtss, i can see it is perfectly consistent in a bad way :p the strange thing is, if i limit the fps to 100fps, the little spikes are smaller, when i go down step by step it gets better, down to 60fps limit the stuttering finally disappears. but it does not look smooth. Normally i disable msi afterburner + rtss to avoid any issues. Is there a known way to eliminate this microstutter at higher framerates?

whenever I loot a corpse, I become unable to loot any inventory or loot container, (stashes, corpses, etc) with the exception of mutant bodies. While in this "state" I can't change the brightness on my NVG either, any ideas on how to fix this? I can still "drag" corpses around, and the only way to fix it is to save and reload. This is a good video of what said bug looks like. The video is from an old version of gamma. However, this bug has persisted across updates and entirely new installs of gamma.

Short answer is no. You can theoretically run debug, export your save as .lua file and edit it, but it can cause lots of issues + invalidates your invictus by using debug

They may crash because MO2 keeps the VFS up, and it’s required for mods to read their files sometimes

if I remember correctly - start the game in debug mode, open "load save" menu, hold Ctrl and left click your desired save file, the text should appear saying smth like "exported lua whatever", then open that .lua file in your Anomaly/appdata/savedgames, edit it, remove the .scoc file with the same name, and then load the game from your edited file
it might break your save, so backup first

and I've tried it long time ago, so not sure if it'll work

2. Search for snd_cache_size and snd_targets then reduce their value from 256 to 128
3. Launch the game and open the settings.

at least i did not see anything in the console window and nothing unexpected happened during install. I had 446 mods after installation, now it is a bit more from some additional weapons, i tried just playing during daytime as the problem is only in darkness. I stumbled upon a strange bug where after / during rain wet ground surfaces flicker between wet and dry when i'm moving / looking around. I tried reinstalling, stock graphic settings to no avail. Only fix is disableing "wet surfaces" which i obviously don''t want to do...

To manually reinstall problematic mods do this:

1. Go to the link(s) the Helper has provided above (or below).
2. Download the mod file(s) from moddb. DO NOT EXTRACT.

yes there are no crosses in mod loader and i have 446 mods after updating

everything else runs really well also, the game does not crash, FPS is well and stable, its just annoying when it will be dark somewhere. It also seems dependable on the weather, sometimes it is stronger, sometimes its barely noticable and some times it does not even show

Whenever I loot a corpse, I become unable to loot any inventory or loot container, (stashes, corpses, etc) with the exception of mutant bodies. While in this "state" I can't change the brightness on my NVG or wipe my mask (if equipped). Any ideas on how to fix this? I can still "drag" corpses around, and the only way to fix it is to save and reload. This is a good video of what said bug looks like. The video is from an old version of gamma. However, the bug has persisted across updates and entirely new installs of gamma.

ofc, but that is the main problem. "Dynamic" escort mission (the one that pop up on the radio "I'm looking for somebody to escort me to B, I'm currently from A) have many problems, especially in my case.
First my situation :

• task not listed in task list, but marker still visible on the map, guy still following me
• I tried to bring him at target location but don't have the conversation when talking with him to finish the task
• 2nd day playing and trying the interaction to finish the mission at all POI with the guy
• killing the guy doesn't affect anything (marker still on the map, can't accept any escort mission neither)
• can't find any task id, so impossible to complete it with cmd execution afaik (the escort mission seems to be made dynamically with other files, the same way has "radio signal" tasks)

By the way, I found some weird things with this escort mission trying to debug the thingy since 2 days :

• I realized that the destination changed multiple times : first on the radio he asked something like "I'm in A and want to go to B". Then I found him in A and he told me something like "I want to go to C". At that moment I saved my game before accepting and talked again to the guy and the told me "I want to go to D"...
• I realized that many problems have been reported with dynamic escort missions since years now, but even despite last suggestion about it limiting/removing these missions being massively approved https://discord.com/channels/912320241713958912/1093213516732829696 , sadly nothing happened.

1. Enable Debug mode: #╭📖faq message
2. Load the save file, then press F7 key and click on NPC Logic / Execute
3. In the function executor paste this line below and press Enter:

4. Now return to Cold to finish the quest.

NOTE: This is for the sidequest not the main Clear Sky storyline.

Is there *anyone *out there playing at high FPS without the frametime issue? I've convinced myself this is possible to fix, as it isn't present in base SoC/CoP or other mods (True Stalker, etc.) but I've tried all sorts of suggested fixes for a few days with no luck. Anyone out there who can show they are getting 100+ FPS with a reasonably flat frametime graph - I'd love to ask some questions about your setup.

I'm not worried about occasional alife stutter or the odd hitch while traversing the map - no problem and I accept this is always going to be present in xray. What I cannot stand is this constant frametime spike every 0.7-1s. Seems to be encountered by folks with higher end hardware.

Things I've experimented with:

1. Stutter fix mod
2. Framerate limits
3. Nvidia control panel low latency mode, vsync, fixed refresh rate, triple buffering (all sorts of combinations)
4. Disabling core 0 and/or restricting the CPU affinity to various combinations of cores

Ok got it, I’d just make a shortcut of GAMMA’s MO2 and run GAMMA from there rather than playing from the launcher.. it should work with the launcher too though. When a Helper is on ask them if it still doesnt work

Plus its less windows for you to open when you just go straight to MO2

Np, yea you can also make a shortcut in MO2 to go straight to Anomaly launcher for even less clicking @paper hull. Starting from Anomaly launcher is required I believe

I've no idea why, but this update of Gamma has been the absolute worst with consistency. Sometimes the game loads in a reasonable amount of time, and others it takes almost 10 minutes to get to the main menu.

I'm on a 7900XT, 3700X, 32GB RAM, and the latest version W10 that was recently reinstalled. Prior to this update, Gamma never had as many issues as I'm experiencing.

I heard AMD doesnt work too well with GAMMA but for you I’d suggest looking at videos to optimize AMD 3D settings for Anomaly, and looking through FAQ category and Framerate Optimization too.. you may have to resort to less pretty GAMMA but its worth it

I’m trying to play gamma without being able to buy guns/armor, plus the techs don’t sell recipes. I made sure that black market traders was not checked in the MO2. @north turret G.A.M.M.A. isn't built with Warfare in mind and Warfare, per se, have bad perfomance, bugs, issues, etc., this is why it isn't recommended.
You can play it if you really want to, but forget about #🔨base-gamma-support, this channel support is only for G.A.M.M.A. vanilla (which basically means no extra stuff at all) and is also used by Grok for bug fixing.
Since G.A.M.M.A. vanilla doesn't use Warfare, you'll need to use #🔨modded-gamma-support.
