prefetchers will make the game run smother and faster in general cause all data is in RAM the more you store in RAM the more you NEED ,

1 of the prefetchers needs ALONE 16 GB without other mods loaded so you get the gist

Well, whichever base I start in, for example if I start merc at merc base, the base is usually empty, now I started as duty in rostok, and it is empty, and maybe all of the other bases but I haven't checked. I remember the bases being very populated even at the start of the game a few patches ago

Some mods won`t install if for example your real time defender from microsoft is turned on bc it thinks it could be dangerous files. Or check out if you updated Gamma in the Gamma Launcher. Maybe that could be help

2. Enable the top 4 boxes under the installation buttons, make sure they're selected
3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

Is there any way to make enemies of all types respawn slower? I'm new to the game btw.
I cleared the vehicle station in cordon, then went to the farm for like 5 mins and back to rookie village for maybe 10 mins. As I was passing by vehicle station I was attacked by mutants in a spot that I had cleared on my way there the first time, vehicle station was already filled with bandits again, and as I went under the railway bridge I was met with even more bandits. All within like 20-25 mins.
The respawn timer for enemies is far too quick, so is there any way to fix this?

Yes, you can turn a regular game ironman by editing the savefile. Right after the player { [...] } block insert:

ironman="save games/<your save name>.ck2"

...to turn it ironman. Make sure you saved uncompressed to make it easier on yourself to edit. 🙂

(You won't be able to get achievements doing this, by the way.)

i can tell you there is no file in either default GAMMA or basegame Anomaly that includes the term [wpn_am17_kemper_hud], so it has to come from a custom mod. either you enabled a custom gun mod for that save and disabled it (which will always cause a crash) or there's some fuckery with your custom mods. either way, #🔨modded-gamma-support

this MO2 plugin allows you to automatically set the Anomaly .EXE to the physical cores so that the CPU use is more efficient

the "Enable this if your stutter" mod only lowers the alife simulation distance so you might actually want to turn it off and see if it improves stutter (although it might lower overall FPS)

Hi! I updated the game hoping it would fix my game as I was crashing left and right the last time, and indeed my game become stable again. However one thing remained. Crashing on equipping a sidearm. I crashed pulling out a 1911 and a steppe desert too, so I dont think its weapon specific... and I found no solution in the discord about sidearm crashes. Should I try to disabling Pretty Pistols? Also logs doesnt mention dogshit,no crash massage either. BUT I do able to repeat the crash most of the time.

Hello guys i need help, i was playing the game as a UNISG before the latest big update the 2nd annivesary update, i had a stash in merc base with ALL my guns in it and than went to patrol north after that the update droped and i updated the game the game worked fine up north and even south all worked fine but now im getting back to merc base to fix my guns the game crashes every time with that error i think i know the issue. I think i had some old guns that the 2nd anniversary update removed from the game, pls help me out on fixing the problem i really had some very very good guns in the stash guns that took me real life months to fix up!

Hello everybody. I installed Gamma on my new PC according to the how install instructions. I encountered already the line 785 error message when i tried to launch the game which could be fixed with the large file instruction and updated Gamma accordingly. The game itself launches now and runs fine till i want to move to another level (as loner from cordon to garbage) and the line 785 error message (screenshot) appears after the crash. Im playing with 429 mods (i deactivated the Gamma economy / Gamma Economy Bas Injection - and activated the trader overhaul) Currently there is a flag in the Mod Organizer with the Hideout Furniture Expansion (349) and Fixed Vanilla Models Texture (31). Can anybody help:)?

If you have already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

1. Download the 1.5.2 update from here: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
2. Open the archive, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)
4. DRAG AND DROP the content of this archive inside your Anomaly folder

6. Open the G.A.M.M.A. launcher with admin rights

1. Check if you are blocked from accessing and browsing https://www.moddb.com/ (you'll see a big red screen)
If you are blocked, then WAIT for the indicated time + 40 minutes and then try to visit the website again.
Alternatively, you can use a VPN to bypass the block.
Don't check every five seconds if the timer is going down, it can lead to problems.
Don't delete anything unless we told you to do so.

If you're not blocked:
2. Open your GAMMA Launcher and check if you have the latest launcher, which is 5.0.0.0.

2. Enable the top 4 boxes under the installation buttons, make sure they're selected
3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

I have a problem that make my artefacts lose their % after loading the game. I tried to fix it by replacing scripts in Artefact Reinvention. It seems to fix the problem but at the same time it doesn't regain the lost % of those artefacts before I fixed the game.

Is it supposed to regain the lost % or only fix the lost % bug?

the lightning and red minus or the red indicator on conflicting mods does not indicate that they will clash and lead to a CTD, this is normal for most GAMMA mods, however you're meant to have 439 mods on a clean install which means you have enabled some optionals which you shouldn't have

1) Open the G.A.M.M.A. Launcher with admin rights
2) Uncheck every box
3) Click on Install / Update G.A.M.M.A

2) Copy these four folders (check pic)
3) Go to your Anomaly folder

It won't delete your save files.

If you crash upon changing your resolution in game, you can change it before launching the game. In Anomaly/appdata/user.ltx look for the vid_mode line and change it to the resolution you like.
