1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. Launcher as admin
2. Enable the top 4 boxes under the installation buttons, make sure they're selected
3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #πŸ“577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #πŸ€–bot-commands.

The winchester doesn't appear to have a scope in game? Even went through the debug list and can't find a compatible scope, despite the weapons desription saying it has a compatible scope.

Had the same issue and yet to resolve it. Not as big a drop as you but i was consistently getting around 100+ fps most areas and now i see around 60 or worse alot.

I had a similair issue two updates ago, game ran flawlessly then I updated and was crashing alot more with significantly worse performance. I would recommend going thru the update proccess again following it carefull or giving it a fresh install. I moved everything to local, closely followed instructions on updating and save for the wierdness on having to reload a number of saves to get back my performance, its been otherwise great.

Im ok with the fps drop as its still very playable but this recent freezing up every 20 mins or so and having to close out using task manager is driving me nuts. Il try a fresh install of the game but cant see that working. Do i just need to drag my save folder to desktop and drag it back in once the reinstallation is done?

When I move or move around my mouse, it stutters. It stutters when I just move my mouse slightly or move my character slightly, it also happens when I hold in Q or E to lean. It's anything to do with camera movement. It's not a big stutter, it's pretty micro but very noticeable. I've tried the core fix, stutter mod, tripple buffering, meatchunk prefetcher, recommended game settings, etc. Nothing works. Is this a normal thing?

A crash happens on looting a body with pdas in it. (i loot other bodies without those totally fine except that body with pdas in it)
But whats interesting thing i know that it have to do with the dates (which i highly assume they can't generate on in-game 2019 [Currerent in-game time of my lastest save was 1/5/2019 (MMDDYYYY)]
Now how would i find to fix it?

Hi guys, help pls. I have a strange problem, every time i move camera or move my char in any direction i have like micro-lags or camera spikes. Like pulsing. When standing still it's not happening or not noticeable. It's not x-ray stutters, fps constantly ok. Somebody knows how to fix that? I tried different graphics options, disable cpu0 etc. Nothing helps(

If you experience Fatal Error mentioning act_eyeball_6.dds : switch to DX11. If you can't afford running DX11 for whatever reason - disable Lurker HD Remodel in MO2.

I think it's some kind of frame pacing issue. I tried running standard Anomaly and it was there too, so it doesn't seem to be a mod problem. Might just be endemic to the X-Ray engine 😦

It will most likely work. The things that would make a save not work are the existence of mods that were enabled/disabled in the save and not in that exact state when you try to load it again. This isn't like a bethesda game where you can yank mods out. With the xray engine if you remove a mod that adds items to the game world then that save will pretty much fail to load or error out until that mod is put back into place. Ones that just alter how the game is played is fine. It's all about items in the world.

Have you tried enabling the unlock companions inventory mod to see if its in his "secret" backpack?

If you have already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

  1. Download the 1.5.2 update from here: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
  2. Open the archive, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
  3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)
  4. DRAG AND DROP the content of this archive inside your Anomaly folder

  2. Are you using latest GAMMA launcher, not the installer? (in /.Grok's Modpack Installer\) (version 5.0 is the newest)
  3. Do you see any ❌ in MO2 under Flags next to any mods (like the image)?

  2. Open Stalker_GAMMA-main.zip using 7-zip, then open the folder inside of it.
  3. Select the 4 files as shown in the picture below, and drag & drop them into GAMMA RC3\.Grok’s Modpack Installer.
  4. Rename G.A.M.M.A_definition_version.txt to:
  • version.txt
  1. Run the Launcher as administrator.

Hi everyone, is anyong having issues with fps? For me, the game is currently unplayable with 10-20 fps when in a firefight. Sometimes the fps goes up to set limit of 60. However, it seems that as soon as more than 2 models such as dogs or NPCs are on the screen, the framerate tanks. I have checked and tried the suggestions in the framerate optimizations guide, but to no avail. My rig is a i5-12600k CPU, GeForce RTX 3060 Ti and 32 GB of RAM. GAMMA is installed on a fast SSD in an M.2 slot. I would think this is more than enough to run most games. When using the windows overlay it seems my cpu and gpu are never above 50% utilization, what could cause these issues? I can run other games, such as dying light 2, satisfactory, deep rock galactic, perfectly fine.

Geting this very fun error when spawning in the monolith squad at army warehouses. I have tried changing/replacing the weapon_ammo.itx files in the various modpacks that have them to try and stop this ammo from spawning in the first place, as well as the st_items_ammo.xml to change the names as well. does not seem to change anything, crash persists. Any suggestions?

I'm guessing that there were some erros when you updated that you didn't see in the black console window open along side your launcher. You need to redownload largefiles since that is where that file comes from.

Is the Rf receiver meant to work like this….. had some details from a looted PDA, was getting consistent double beeps without a green flashing light around an area which lead me to a normal bag stash, I searched all around the area in bushes and eventually gave up but thought il keep the RF out and just keep running east…..eventually started beeping with a flashing green light and lead me straight to a package, is that normal to try throw you off or something?

3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #πŸ€–bot-commands.

  1. Go to the link(s) the Helper has provided above (or below).
  2. Download the mod file(s) from moddb. DO NOT EXTRACT.
  3. Place every archive you downloaded into your \GAMMA\downloads folder. Overwrite if needed.
  4. Run the GAMMA Launcher as admin. Make sure only β€œForce zip extraction” is enabled.
  5. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A.

1. Check if you are blocked from accessing and browsing https://www.moddb.com/ (you'll see a big red screen)
If you are blocked, then WAIT for the indicated time + 40 minutes and then try to visit the website again.
Alternatively, you can use a VPN to bypass the block.
Don't check every five seconds if the timer is going down, it can lead to problems.
Don't delete anything unless we told you to do so.

If you're not blocked:
2. Open your GAMMA Launcher and check if you have the latest launcher, which is 5.0.0.0.

If you don't have it, go in #πŸ€–bot-commands, type !50 and follow 2), 3) and 4) of the steps, then continue with this guide
3. Disable antivirus temporarily

Well like Taco Shack said, we don't officially offer vanilla anomaly support here. My one stab in the dark for you would be to backup your user.ltx and let the game create a new one. If that works then it is some graphical setting that you changed that is causing it.

No firing sound for integrally suppressed weapons

So the dvl-10, vss, as-val, and some regular weapons with a suppressor (k98 forester) don't do any sound when i shoot, the reloading sound is there tho. For the forester, if i remove the suppressor it works just fine. The vssk works too.

I did reinstall everything from the gamma installer, and it did not worked. Please help.

If you have already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

  2. Open the archive, you'll see 4 folders and a text file

I'm in army warehouse, at freedom's base, it's sunset and I got something like 45-50fps.

@wheat shard G.A.M.M.A. isn't built with Warfare in mind and Warfare, per se, have bad perfomance, bugs, issues, etc., this is why it isn't recommended.
You can play it if you really want to, but forget about #πŸ”¨base-gamma-support, this channel support is only for G.A.M.M.A. vanilla (which basically means no extra stuff at all) and is also used by Grok for bug fixing.
Since G.A.M.M.A. vanilla doesn't use Warfare, you'll need to use #πŸ”¨modded-gamma-support.

Does anyone have any advice for dealing with incredibly long loading times? I was loading in about 10 seconds before the most recent update. Now it is 3 to 5 minutes after the update. This is making transitioning from one zone to another so painful that it is hardly worth playing the game.
