You have to reinstall Anomaly, follow these instructions:

  1. Add your Anomaly folder to your antivirus exceptions. For Windows Defender, do as instructed here: #🖥️how-to-install message
    🔹 If you need to keep your savefiles, type !save in #🤖bot-commands
  2. Now delete all the content inside your Anomaly installation folder.
  3. Move both the Anomaly 1.5.1 and 1.5.2 update .zip files into the now clean Anomaly folder.
    🔹 If you don't have both Anomaly 1.5.1 and 1.5.2 .zip files, download them again from Moddb or get them by typing !torrent in #🤖bot-commands
  4. Right click the 1.5.1 zip file and hover over "7-Zip", then select "Extract Here".
  5. Then, right click the 1.5.2 update zip file and hover over "7-Zip", then select "Extract Here".
  6. Launch Anomaly, once you get to the main menu, exit the game.

Separate issue I'm noticing - the weapon trails (SFX) sound wrong at long ranges, like a clipped popping noise. It sounds like an audio glitch but I dont know how to fix it. Once I get closer to the gunfire, it sounds proper again, so it only happens at long ranges

1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. Launcher as admin
2. Enable the top 4 boxes under the installation buttons, make sure they're selected
3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

My backpack randomly disappear, I think it's because of the pressing or holding [Shift] to transfer or drop item out of your inventory feature when you're holding Shift to run and open your backpack your mouse default area will be hovering on your backpack and result in throwing out your backpack.

Doing a mission where I have to find a dead Duty soldier in Meadow. Going to meadow, see the dead guy, kill the Poltergeist and the Burer next to his corpse, and try to loot him to officially win the mission.

Problem : You found nothing useful on this dead body.

I mean, yeah, I know I didn't kill him so technically I can't loot him but in this case this feature seems glitched. Any idea on how to fix this without giving up on my contract ?

4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

How to get rid of the Ecolog Semenov.

  1. Turn on the debug menu: #╭📖faq message
  2. Launch the game and load your save file.
  3. Now press F7 and then press on the NPC Logic/Execute button.
  4. Copy and paste this into the command line:
  • task_manager.get_task_manager():set_task_completed("yan_ecolog_semenov_task_1")
  1. Click: Execute
  2. Now aim at the Semenov and press F7, then press F
  • You should see object info text on the left ( as shown in the picture )

I just installed GAMMA and everything seems to have installed correctly, have 422 active mods and no flags. I was launching to a black screen, so I followed the steps from the FAQ on this issue. Replacing the user.ltx file in Anomaly/appdata fixed it, but whenever I try to change the resolution from 1920x1080 to 2560x1440 the problem returns. Is there a known issue with 1440p resolution? I launch to a black screen, but can hear the main menu music playing.

If you crash upon changing your resolution in game, you can change it before launching the game. In Anomaly/appdata/user.ltx look for the vid_mode line and change it to the resolution you like.

  2. Are you using latest GAMMA launcher, not the installer? (in /.Grok's Modpack Installer\) (version 5.0 is the newest)

Ok so I am having an issue where my fps caps at 50 around 5 minutes after loading a game. Once this happens, it stays there until I completely restart GAMMA/ANOMALY. I have tried many of the performance issue fixes and all of the stutter fixes as I sometimes get stutters too. None of the graphics setting seem to do anything to fix or improve it, so it probably has to be something to do with processing.

You have to reinstall Anomaly, follow these instructions:

  1. Add your Anomaly folder to your antivirus exceptions. For Windows Defender, do as instructed here: #🖥️how-to-install message
    🔹 If you need to keep your savefiles, type !save in #🤖bot-commands
  2. Now delete all the content inside your Anomaly installation folder.
  3. Move both the Anomaly 1.5.1 and 1.5.2 update .zip files into the now clean Anomaly folder.
    🔹 If you don't have both Anomaly 1.5.1 and 1.5.2 .zip files, download them again from Moddb or get them by typing !torrent in #🤖bot-commands
  4. Right click the 1.5.1 zip file and hover over "7-Zip", then select "Extract Here".
  5. Then, right click the 1.5.2 update zip file and hover over "7-Zip", then select "Extract Here".
  6. Launch Anomaly, once you get to the main menu, exit the game.
  7. Go to your G.A.M.M.A. folder and delete the ModOrganizer**.ini** file, found right under the ModOrganizer**.exe**.
  8. Now, always inside your G.A.M.M.A. folder, go inside the .Grok's Modpack Installer folder and open the G.A.M.M.A. Launcher as admin, press First Install Initialization and select your Anomaly folder in the popup, don't open it, you just need to select folder.
  9. Untick/deselect all the options under the Install/Update G.A.M.M.A. button and press it to install and finish.

If you have already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

  1. Download the 1.5.2 update from here: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
  2. Open the archive, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
  3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)

@opal pewter YOU'RE NOT PLAYING ANOMALY VANILLA. THIS IS A MOD PACK, REMEMBER?
Don't verify stuff with the Anomaly Launcher, you're using Mod Organizer 2 to launch the game and to manage the mods used in GAMMA.
The error you'll get is harmless and doesn't mean anything, that's not the problem you have with your game.
