WinRAR does the same thing, yes, absolutely, but you can have problems along the way.
So, it's better to use 7Zip.

I need some help. For about a week in game or so I have not had an emission happen. The alert from other stalker do occur so I was able to be around in the world and not sleeping through it's window, but nothing happened. However birds do panic and fly around cawing as if it was about to start. I do get psy-storms still and new artifacts are spawning. I have attempted to adjust the frequency of the events to the shortest windows but it had no effect.

This is what you could find:

You just need to send ONE of these files where it was asked. It's either ONE file with .txt OR .log OR with nothing at the end. DON'T send anything with .bkp at end.

Drag and drop the file inside the Discord channel, Discord will handle it for you.
Make sure you're not using any extra mods, if you do, you'll need to ask in #🔨modded-gamma-support.

Hi all, I have this flickering issue that is driving me nuts. Already spend a lot of time with stetting's and sharers but cant seem to solve it. Its kind of hard to see it in a screenshot because its mainly happening when I move around. In this screenshot you can see the issue on the fences I highlighted. When I move, this 'lightspots' move and flicker around which is kinda hard on the eyes because the constant flickering and movement. Note, the screenshot is somehow much darker than my actual game. I think the error was with Semenov's companion. He got lost and was not registered as my companion anymore(?).

I think I fixed it by opening the game on debug mode and executing: task_manager.get_task_manager():set_task_completed("yan_ecolog_semenov_task_1")
^It completes the task. Perhaps the issue is fixed. For anyone that might encounter the same crash as I did.

Also it should work for anyone that is tired of that companion never leaving your side 😄

I have the same issue but most of damage sources can't kill me. Mutant damage can't kill me, bullet damage can't kill me, anomaly damage can't kill me, i can die from radiation ticks, bleeding, and damage taken when in presence of electro anomaly (not the discharge). I didn't test all sources of damage. And i think that my armor takes insane damage as well. It all started when i have reinstalled the game yesterday to a new version.

moddb has been fucky recently with it's server. Make sure you have your AV off GAMMA and Anomaly folders in the AV exception lists, make sure that your AV is OFF during instalation AND run the Installer as admin

HEY DUDES. I was having some problems while updating the game. Got a bunch of errors mainly from gamma_large_files and gunslinger. I manually downloaded those from google drive and followed the instructions from !gunslinger and !largefiles also unchecking the boxes I was told to uncheck for each command. My question is should I run the update again to see if any errors appear (with those boxes checked)? Since I'm not so sure those were the only two folders causing the errors? Or am I gonna end up full of errors again and I should just run the game as is? Basically I don't know what the MD5, Force git download and Update Large Files boxes really do.

HEY DUDES. I was having some problems while updating the game. Got a bunch of errors mainly from gamma_large_files and gunslinger. I manually downloaded those from google drive and followed the instructions from !gunslinger and !largefiles also unchecking the boxes I was told to uncheck for each command. My question is should I run the update again to see if any errors appear (with those boxes checked)? Since I'm not so sure those were the only two folders causing the errors? Or am I gonna end up full of errors again and I should just run the game as is? Basically I don't know what the MD5, Force git download and Update Large Files boxes really do.

I've just recently reinstalled the game (fresh) and everything seemed to be going fine, until I noticed that a number of guns are competely broken, while others function competely fine. These 'broken' guns are invisible, cannot fire or reload, and will break any other equipped guns. UNequipping the 'broken' guns allows me to use other functional ones like normal. I can't tell if this is 'busyhands' or some other goofy bug. I'm completely new to this discord server and its contents, so I'm confused as hell. I have gamma activated and everything is fine but after launching its just modded anomally
