3. Enable the "Turn this on if you stutter" mod in your MO2 (you can find the mod under the G.A.M.M.A. Fixes separator)
4. If you have a NVIDIA GPU, you can enable Triple Buffering in NVIDIA control panel
5. Open Anomaly Launcher via MO2 and tick Prefetch sounds
6. If you have a beefy GPU, use Anomaly (DX11) (no avx)

What @slim pagoda said + your placed backpack stashes + sometimes when the game doesn’t let you click on the houses - just disable “zones of interest” covering them (or whatever they are called, white circles on the map), and then you’ll be able to click and fast travel

Turn on the "Turn this on if you stutter" mod in MO2 then go to \GAMMA\mods\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs and open alife.ltx in a text editor.
Reduce the auto_switch_distance_start value in small increments of 100 a time.
Every time you get 'busyhands' randomly, reduce it by 100 more.
If the fix needs to be resistant to changes made by the installer make sure to also modify the alife.ltx file in \GAMMA\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_addons\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs

If you get the bug on first load, try loading the same save again. It loads faster and is less likely to bug.

Hey @keen cedar , you seem to be cracking in here today.. any ideas why my game would crash whenever I load new areas on a completely standard Gamma installation? It's gotten worse over the course of the run and now it's just unplayable. I did tweak loot to be more abundant, and upped the body count, so I wonder if things aren't just bogged down, but I don't know if that stretches across multiple areas.

Huh, that's odd.. So @keen cedar , the game's a lot more stable.. Hadn't crashed since the fix. So I wanted to see if I could crash it on purpose.. Turned on god mode and sprinted from the Red Forest to the Garbage. And it would always crash on the Garbage transition. Quick question. When you launch the GAMMA launcher to Update/Download the mods, it takes a lot of time because there is a "mirrors.txt" file with US servers in there. The problem for EU people are reaaally slow downloads. 415 Mods are taking forever... Is there a way to change those "mirrors" to EU ones?

It's being caused by the "fogFX.scipt" file that's part of the "Atmospheric Shaders Weathers and Reshade Latest" mod. Not sure what is in the script file that causes the annoying leaves to appear though. Also, they only seem to occur during certain types of weather. If you use the debug menu to select a weather file, w_cloudy1, w_cloudy3, w_rain1, w_rain2, and w_rain3 are the only ones that seem to generate the leaves effect.

It's a picture in picture scope, it kills frames, don't use it. It's basically the last one left in gamma

Hello, so today I re-installed GAMMA with a clean Anomaly folder and everything, no mags nor nothing, 415 mods exactly. I'm still getting the "Shader Compilation Failed" error, every time I play the game and start it crashes, but when I wait 10 mins in the main menu the game starts, but after walking for a while it crashes. I downloaded "large gamma files v2" from the Google Drive, and followed a guide on how to properly install it, and that fixed the start up crashes, but now it crashes after a while, and the logs show me this

If you are blocked, then WAIT for the indicated time + 40 minutes and then try to visit the website again.
Alternatively, you can use a VPN to bypass the block.

I recently installed following the tutorial in this discord server, and when i start up a game and spawn in, I keep having max 30-40 fps. I installed new driver and the settings are default, no big changes

Has anyone found a way to run the game in DX11 (from launcher settings) and use VULKAN RUNTIME?
When I use Vulkan (dxvk) for DX11 game will always crash on launch, giving unhandled exception error.
In DX10, game runs well however graphical fidelity is noticeably lower.

nowhere, single-threaded engine. the biggest hit to FPS will be number of NPCs in the active area. you can try to e.g. decrease grass density and other steps following #╰⚡fps-optimisation but don't expect miracles
