1. Check if you are blocked from accessing and browsing https://www.moddb.com/ (you'll see a big red screen)
If you are blocked, then WAIT for the indicated time + 40 minutes and then try to visit the website again.

I don’t really know where to ask this as it isn’t a problem of installation, bugs, crashes but my problem is more about the mechanics of the game I’ve often disliked the fact that the more I played the less I even thought about using bolts and it just turned to fodder in my stash after a while. Would increasing zcp’s DAO section from 40 to max help my case so that I could be forced to use bolts again? Cause I feel like it still wouldn’t fix my case but I don’t know truthfully

Hello people, I need your help, I have a strange problem, some sights in the game are out of calibration, the crosshairs are not centered, I don't know why this error should be caused, it is not with all the sights in the game, but with one a large part of them. Fix missing/misaligned red dot:

  • Increase texture detail to 3/4 or 4/4, or enter texture_lod 0 in the in-game console, and then restart the game.

If the steps from above didn't work, try this fix instead:

  1. Download the mod from #πŸ”¨base-gamma-support message
  2. In Mod Organizer 2, click on File -> Install mod
  3. Find wherever you saved the Jubs_Low_Texture_Red_Dots.rar file.
  4. Click β€œOK”. Name it however you want. It will be at the very end of the mod list.
  5. Enable this mod.

I have a problem, certain missions no longer appear when they should, no matter how many days you wait for them. Tourist safari from wolf in rookie-village, the pair of monolith soldiers in the palace basement no longer offer the "destroy/conquer the enemy" missions. And Aslan no longer offers the "rid the base of mutants" mission.

To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

I've been directed to ask my question here. I just installed Anomaly and Gamma, I opened the game and I was met with a crackling sound in the menu. I looked at the audio settings of the launcher. Prefetch sounds was off, and in the menu EAX is off as well. The crackling is tied with the menu music, if I turn the music off the crackling goes away. Any solutions for this issue?

We can't really see the problem if you take a picture with your cellphone. If you have a problem you want to share with us, you can do the following, since we don't care about your second monitor or your desktop background:

  1. While in game, press F12, go inside Anomaly\appdata\screenshots. If the screenshot isn't there, look in your GAMMA RC3 folder, inside a folder called overwrite
  2. Press PRTSC (Print Screen on your keyboard) open Paint, CTLR + V to paste the pic, save it, send it
  3. Windows key + Shift + S, which let you choose what part of the screen you want to take, it will directly copy the pic for you.

I got a multiple problems,

  1. Stalker just randomly minimising and I have no idea what is causing that
  2. The PDA when opened will flash the screen brightly and sometimes will refuse to open
    3, The Health GUI is broken as all fuck.

I have a strange feeling I have to reinstall GAMMA which would kind of suck, but if it fixes the issue then i'd do it

Hello stalkers i have encountered a problem that certainly makes the game very hard to play. I updated the game today 380 mods in total and all that but any enemy except very very few when i start a new game are tankier than a pseudogiant, i used up all my starting shotgun ammo on a zombie straight in the head and it still did not die. What exactly have i done wrong during this? i play on both starter settings at highest difficulty but this seems excessively hard?

ok so after testing its only in that room with the bed. all other rooms work great. slightly annoying because when you wake up and are getting sniped you may not be able to shoot back. also i can aim at a wall for as long as i want but the second i put my cursor on an enemy it unscopes

Fix missing/misaligned red dot:

  • Increase texture detail to 3/4 or 4/4, or enter texture_lod 0 in the in-game console, and then restart the game.

If the steps from above didn't work, try this fix instead:

  1. Download the mod from #πŸ”¨base-gamma-support message
  2. In Mod Organizer 2, click on File -> Install mod
  3. Find wherever you saved the Jubs_Low_Texture_Red_Dots.rar file.
  4. Click β€œOK”. Name it however you want. It will be at the very end of the mod list.

This is what you could find:

  1. xray_yournamehere.txt
  2. xray_yournamehere.log
  3. xray_yournamehere without any file extension

You just need to send ONE of these files where it was asked. It's either ONE file with .txt OR .log OR with nothing at the end. DON'T send anything with .bkp at end.

Do I have to change graphics settings in a specific file or something? No changes I'm making are saving after i hit save and return to game. FoV and res saves but no advanced settings do.

To manually reinstall problematic mods do this:

To bring your in-game settings back to default, DON'T press the "default" button in the game menu - you'll mess up everything.
Instead, do this:

1) Go to GAMMA RC3\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_patches\appdata
2) Copy the user.ltx file you'll find in there.
3) Go to Anomaly\appdata and paste the user.ltx there, and replace it.

You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

  1. Download the 1.5.2 update: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
  2. Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
  3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)
  4. DRAG AND DROP the content of this archive inside your Anomaly folder
  5. OVERWRITE everything when asked to do so
  6. Open the G.A.M.M.A. launcher with admin rights
  7. Disable every box in the Launcher
  8. Click on Install / Update G.A.M.M.A.

Antivirus is interfering
Or your drive has permission issues and doesn't let you extract the files
(Usually a problem when trying to extract files from internal drive to the external drive)

You have to reinstall Anomaly, follow these instructions:

Got this error after crashing. Happened after experiencing busyhands and reloading a previous save. I also crash whenever I open a prior save before experiencing busyhands, specifically whenever I attempt to sleep or save in-game. Makes my current run pretty much unplayable. You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

  1. Download the 1.5.2 update: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
  2. Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file

there is a bug where my characters animation for a specific weapon stucks and his hands are stuck behind his back.. only way to get out of it is to take the weapon our of slot and switch to another weapon.. this ruins the weapon. to recreate: unjam the gun or load into a new save(the starting gun in the new save can also be affected)

1) Add your GAMMA and Anomaly folders to the Windows Defender exclusions and disable real-time protection temporarily, before downloading the file.
You can find these settings here:

You have to reinstall Anomaly, follow these instructions:

installing this is such a mess. i have never modded a game using this software. "if its a first install , download the downloads.7z zip file and use that, it contains most of the mods , you can also check the md5 checker off if you are ok with the current version of the mods.. the installer will download some mods that are not in the zip.

in Mod Organizer, right click "287- G.A.M.M.A. Massive Text Overhaul Project - SageDaHerb and Dr.Pr1nkos" and choose "Information..."
Then, go to the "Conflicts" tab. Use the "filter" bar and search for the BAS_eng.xml files
On each one, right click -> "Hide" (look at the image for a guide)
THEN, disable that bas name hider mod I told you about initially, "106- Remove (BAS) label from guns names - Joheed"

note: this may still not work perfectly because of the other mods ovewriting some of these files, but tbqh, at that point you are better off learning about file conflicts in MO2 because i am Tired and there are a lot of people in this channel

You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

  1. Download the 1.5.2 update: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
  2. Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
  3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)
  4. DRAG AND DROP the content of this archive inside your Anomaly folder
  5. OVERWRITE everything when asked to do so
  6. Open the G.A.M.M.A. launcher with admin rights
  7. Disable every box in the Launcher
