To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

That happens when you don't follow the instructions in #🖥️how-to-install . You need to launch vanilla anomaly once to create the necessary config files.

Well actually that verify button isn't really a function of gamma. Still make sure you launch anomaly once if you didn't during install.

No you don't need to disable the mods. Just navigate to your anomaly folder and launch in once using one of the DX versions in anomaly/bin

You have to reinstall Anomaly, follow these instructions:
🔹Add your Anomaly folder to antivirus exceptions. For Windows Defender do as instructed here: #🖥️how-to-install message
🔹To keep your savefiles type !save in #🤖bot-commands
🔹Now delete all content inside your Anomaly installation folder
🔹If you no longer have both anomaly zip files then acquire them by typing !torrent in #🤖bot-commands (or if this is your second attempt)

I've searched the forum. My problem was that i've disabled balistic overhaul 181,182,183.
Solution : Download blur2.ppe, add it to the any mod in gamedata/anims.
or just add BO again.

Generally it’s best to just push cancel on the little white download window. Then let the installer process finish. Then do !largefiles instructions. At one point the launcher appears to hang.

Two things I wanted to ask, If i have enabled some mods is there a simple way to restore the original 380 mods that are enabled?
Secondly, game is running well but seem to get some occasional crashes without errors. Screen just goes black and I have to sign out and back in again to actually close the client, CTL SHIFT ESC dont even save me. Last crash all i did was adjust keybinds. I am wondering maybe if its the Graphics settings i changed that could be causing it but my system is high end.

Hi, I just successfully installed everything but in-game I have the problem that collision seems extremely glitchy. If I walk "into" a wall next to a doorway I slide around a bit and then suddenly I am teleported a meter behind the door. It works fine otherwise but walking next to walls is glitching around constantly. Is this a known thing and is there any fix?

I'm having issues with the downloader, any mod that's related to music, ambiance or pda radio, the download is completely stagnant no matter how much time passes. Left the installer run on its own before I left for work and it was stuck at one specific mod for at least 7 hours. Any ideas?

you can close out the installer and run it again. those mods are hosted on moddb and therefore download times will depend on your PC's connection + moddb server health

a lot of the "give me a repaired gun" quests only take one specific version of the weapon. Because of all the gun packs in GAMMA it's common to have multiple variants of a gun with the same name but different item ID, which you can't tell in game normally

The workaround is to use the debug menu to spawn in a different version of the Makarov until you get the one that the quest-giver wants. Or keep hunting for PM Makarovs.

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

2. Enable the top 4 boxes under the installation buttons, make sure they're selected
3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

It's the fourth time that my game crash without any error message when the "bip bip" begone faster. The only clue i have (and that's probably the problem root's) he's that the message that i got, tellin' to "don't forget the package on west of the meadow frenquency 90mzh" is wrote in french (on the begin of this save i had the french patch activated, mod that I disable due to several performance drop).

No, these annoying and endless freezes came when the french patch was activated, but the game never close or crash, it just freeze hard. Plus, with shaders On, it drops my fps to 40. Without french patch i can keep them at 90.

The game still crashing with the Fr patch enable.
The problem with your last tip is that i can't reach the destination of the package i have like a freeze when nearby then the game close without any error window poppin up.

It's especially apparent on rock surfaces and floors but the textures of the floors just don't look right to me for some reason, the videos I watch aren't like this. This is crazy! Disabling AVX gave me a ~15 FPS boost... Don't think my GPU is decent (RTX 3050), but somehow it performs MUCH better (i7-10700k). I haad mostly 55-60 FPS before, but in certain areas it dropped to ~38 FPS - now it's 60 everywhere. Not bad

It seems like there are a lot more than 380 mods that came with this pack, and when I did the installation bit it only activated 368 out of 380(???) mods, so I'm not sure which ones to enable or not to reach the target number.

Also, all 5 HUD mods are flagged with a red X.

RAM mostly has an effect on the framerate and frame pacing to prevent tearing and make things smoother, less about the graphics or object rendering.

If you want more things to load or better graphics, you'd need to upgrade your graphics card or CPU.

• Increase texture detail to 3/4 or 4/4, or enter texture_lod 0 in the in-game console, and then restart the game.

If the steps from above didn't work, try this fix instead:

Random crashes, frequent enough to cause some headache (once every 30-90min I'd guess).
Been going on since days. Happens without any noticeable trigger or pattern.
Not sure what else to do at this point if crashlog doesn't help, PC is running fine with decent frames, game up to date, no extra mods

I've done all of that at least 3 times by now, including reinstalling Anomaly and still no change. I've tried changing into multiple factions and so far the only slight change I got was NPC's reacting to actor holding a gun and pointing theirs, but I can get closer, shoot them or whatever and they just stand there holding their gun. They will react to companions instantly

Try any one of these at a time (in no particular order) to see if it help:

1. Update G.A.M.M.A. to the latest version (open GAMMA Launcher with admin rights, click on Install / Update)
2. Bring your modlist back to default (type !default in #🤖bot-commands )
3. Enable the "Turn this on if you stutter" mod in your MO2 (you can find the mod under the G.A.M.M.A. Fixes separator)
4. If you have a NVIDIA GPU, you can enable Triple Buffering in NVIDIA control panel
5. Open Anomaly Launcher via MO2 and tick Prefetch sounds
6. If you have a beefy GPU, use Anomaly (DX11) (no avx)

We can't really see the problem if you take a picture with your cellphone. If you have a problem you want to share with us, you can do the following, since we don't care about your second monitor or your desktop image:

1. Press F12 in-game, look in Anomaly\appdata\screenshots. If it isn't there, look in your GAMMA RC3 folder, inside a folder called overwrite.
2. Press PRTSC (Print Screen on your keyboard), open Paint, CTLR + V to paste the pic, save it, send it.
3. Windows key + Shift + S, which let you choose what part of the screen you want to copy, it will directly copy the pic for you.
