@silk zephyr ik lowering the blood pool radius in the MCM can improve fps during combat, maybe try enabling the stutter fix after killing the technician tho

G.A.M.M.A. has a default mod list and a default list of keybinds and settings, just to make sure everyone has the same things.
When you update, everything goes back to default for this reason, so yes, it's normal.

try running the launcher as admin, make sure your MO2 is closed and click Instal/Update

Actually.. just fixed this myself. I went to the Mod Config in main menu, and in side bar option "Better Stats" scrolled all the way down to the tick box, "GAMMA UI compatibility..." Hope this helps for anyone else with this issue.

despite fresh saves/gamma update. my inventory food/drink/sleep icons seem to be broken. if i hover over food to eat it doesn't show how it affects the food icon (should fill with green but doesn't). Hi everyone for some reason I cannot reload, anyone ever get that problem

Running only the 380 mods, no red X in MO2 and Gamma Launcher 4.3.0.0 and I'm using DX10 AVX. My issue is that every time I close and reopen gamma to my last save, my FPS is tanked to ~20% of normal. I've found I can switch off AA and SMAA and restart and it comes back to normal and I can put them back to 8x and Very High and it runs fine again. My current solution is to replace user.ltx with my backup (with both switched off) and change them once it loads up, but this is tedious doing it every time. Any suggestions what's causing this?

Good day. looks like I am missing the pgun.omf from Gunslinger. I am using linux so using the launcher in a virtual machine under windows 7 takes a considerable effort.
I know that !gunslinger states that one shall not extract it. From my understanding, the folder containing the gamedata folder just needs to be renamed to "312- Gunslinger Guns for Anomaly - Teivazcz & Gunslinger Team" and moved appropriately. Am I right to assume that? If not, where can I look it up how the installer manages these kind of things?

The launcher extracts the archive into a folder with the mod name to GAMMA/mods and creates a meta.ini file. This file changes according to the path to the mods folder. If you will find the exact same meta.ini file (basically from a person with the exact same path to the mods folder) and move it to the mod folder then you will be fine (probably and not tested)

Thanks a lot, looks like manually merging the corresponding gamedata subfolders of gunslinger into "GAMMA/mods/312- Gunslinger Guns for Anomaly - Teivazcz & Gunslinger Team" did the trick. I don't know if every weapon out of gunslinger is used in GAMMA though.

Hi, how does the GAMMA Actor Damage Balancer work exactly? When playing with it active, the game becomes super hard with bullet-sponge enemies (for example : a military private/novice took four shots of buckshot and around seven knife-thrusts into the skull before dying; or a blind dog taking few shots from 7.62x54R before dying [both of these examples used full-condition over/under shotty and mosin]). Is it due to some mod errors/conmflicts, or is it supposed to be that way?

i believe it boosts YOUR damage resistance. You cannot adjust enemy damage resistance, you can only boost your bullet damage (by moving the correct slider)

When I turned off the mod, the gameplay became normal and enemies died from the usual amount of damage (e.g. two shots of buckshot for a boar, a few pistol shots for a dog). That's how I remember it being for gamma before

So after disabling the brain scorcher the north is supposed to be more populated right. Does Gamma change anything there? Cuz the north seems to be even less populated than before disabling that thing. Didnt change population value after disabling the scorcher.

Whenever AI vs AI fight happen they just cannot hit each other for a long time
But when I try to tackle a rookie bandit he just laseguns me with a PPSH through a bush

Ive been playing fine for a 10hours or so. I just recently killed the chimera in the swap then slept after that. After waking up and walking a few steps i got this error. After that as soon as i try and load that save it instantly crashes with this error.

Going to a new zone and sleeping also doesn't fix it

EDIT- Reloading a save from before the chimera kill fixed it. It was something to do with the chimera or some other event that happened during that night in the zone

I just installed GAMMA, but when I try to start a new game it crashes, due to it being unable to read memory. There are no flags in MO2 and the launcher version is 4.3.0.0. I will try again so I can post the crash message.

Lost Signal quests aren't working for me for some reason. They signal never comes on and the bodies never spawn. I've tried loading a save before loading the map, didn't work. Triple checked every inch of the map to make sure I didn't miss anything, nothing. Tried exiting the map and reentering, didn't work either. I have no idea why it's doing this.

3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

Hello, I've gone through the FAQ errors but according to my game's crash log, it's not one of them. My game crashed after trying to load in a new world.

The file is inside your Anomaly folder, this is the complete path:
Anomaly/appdata/logs

This is what you could find:

1. xray_yournamehere.txt
2. xray_yournamehere.log
3. xray_yournamehere without any file extension

You just need to send ONE of these files where it was asked. It's either ONE file with .txt OR .log OR with nothing at the end. DON'T send anything with .bkp at end.

Drag and drop the file inside the Discord channel, Discord will handle it for you.
Make sure you're not using any extra mods, if you do, you'll need to ask in #🔨modded-gamma-support.

To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

Go to /Anomaly/db/ and cut the shaders.db0 file out and paste it on your desktop temporarily.
Then disable both antivius and firewall and open the GAMMA installer as admin.
In the installer, press the Allow PowerShell scripts button, then press the Download G.A.M.M.A. data button and finally the Only install G.A.M.M.A. add-ons button.

After this, launch MO2 again, make sure you have all #📍577-mods-in-mo2 and see no ❌ next to the mods (under flags).
Launch the game, you should get the error again.

After failing to start the game put the shaders.db0 file back in /Anomaly/db/ and then clear the shader cache again by deleting the shaders-cache folder in /Anomaly/appdata.
Now close MO2.

Relaunch MO2 again and play the game, prayers to preferred deity are optional.
