Try checking the barrel condition inside of your gun. As barrel condition degrades, damage goes down. It will say how much % damage you are doing in the gun status

Groks ballistics says his armor class is 0.3 and your ammo pen is 0.17 so you did not penetrate the armor. you dropped his health from 1.0 to 0.69 (you dealt 31 damage).

i dont think we can say the opponents are invincible or have gone into negative health making them invincible based on the log file. it suggests you failed to pentrate armor and hit the dude in the arm for not enough damage to kill him

that sucks man. maybe double check the HRT settings inside the openAL sound file in the Anomaly\bin\alsoft.ini file and adjust it for your needs. make a backup of that file first

savage, maybe try a different gun or something. try to find some kind of pattern. i recommend you make a save file right next to some stalkers and then get into firefights on purpose and then go examine the xray log after quitting the game

it will say whether or not you penetrated armor, which body part did you hit, how much damage did you do, etc.

1.0 means opponent is at 100% health, 0.50 means opponent is at 50% health, etc

try different ammo. you can use the cheat menu to give yourself guns and ammo to experiment with

Hello I cannot launch the game after a minor update, I get shader compilation error, I have tried clearing the shader cache and reinstalling the mod list (377!! no red X's!!!) via the NEW launcher, not the old one, with all the settings ticked so that it reinstalls. If anyone is able to help I would appreciate it, 9.0 was running fine before the update. I've been crawling the search bar for solutions but haven't found any.

it's not just the tinnitus sound. all of your sound is ruined including the music. you may have some serious sound driver or other issue. i recommend double checking your sound driver, making sure openAL is installed OK and using that alsoft.ini file in the BIN directory to change things like the bitrate.

that just means the game's scripting engine threw an error on line 206 of a compiled program. it doesnt mean much. however, this is an LUA type error which typically means a problem resulting from a mod instead of the core game engine itself. and the mod in this case is aol_m412_monkeypatches

I have a question and was wondering if anyone could help me out. I had a previous version of Gamma installed and updated recently. The only problem is all the enemies seem to be incredibly tanky now compared to what I was dealing with before. For Example, on regular 100% damage, it takes me 3+ shotgun shots to kill a pseudodog. I've temporarily solved the issue by upping my damage in the menus but I'd like to know if there is something I can do to change or fix this other than just increasing my damage output artificially through the menu all the time.

Another example is that it takes me upwards of 10+ .45 shots to kill a basic level bandit on regular damage levels.

Is this normal/intended? If so, is there a way I can revert the damage numbers back to the previous version of the modlist that I was using? I do still have the zip folder but I don't know how I would go about altering that.

I believe my crash is due to a specific "Destroy mutant lair" mission in Cordon right next to the Darkscape teleport, more specifically the 2-3 mutants that spawn from the quest as I've had multiple instances where whenever my character get within about 100 metres from the white quest pin it crashes.

I can boot the game up again and screenshot the specific error message and I have the crashlog saved elsewhere if you need it

i think being only able to sleep when you're tired is an anomaly feature but you can use sleeping pills or alcohol ingame to induce fatigue

with mutant killing quests they tend to auto complete themselves when the mutant get killed by other Stalker anyway, so if you can't find it you can just skip it and eventually someone will kill it... if not and you really want to get rid of it, check the bot command for !task in #🤖bot-commands

Why does every update completely reset my keybinds/my settings/my mods/my stuff in general?

G.A.M.M.A. has a default mod list and a default list of keybinds and settings, just to make sure everyone has the same things.
When you update, everything goes back to default for this reason, so yes, it's normal.

The thing is, i'm playing on invictus right now, so i can't really enable the debug mode. Perhaps i'll specify it a bit more : The target npcs (The enemy SIN's) despawned after some time no matter what i do, thus making a dead end to my main quest. It happens in the previous quest too, but i somehow are quick enough to kill them and completes it (defend rostok from SIN ambush)

I am being irradiated very quickly when I open the workbench (from a crafted workbench) and try to fuse artefacts. I have the artifact melter and all of my artefacts in the attached stash. Sorry for the wall of text, but I'm thinking of this like a forum post...

So I updated to the .9 update and had no problems. Held off updating again when the hotfixes dropped as my game was working fine. Finally, last weekend I updated again and was going along fine. Last night I tried to do Gatekeeper's mission in Army Warehouses. The one where you defend against the Monolith incursion (part of the following Strelok main questline) and things started going weird.

I got almost all the enemies knocked down, then died. I reloaded the game and, after a brief load attempt, crashed without error report.

Tonight I try again. I talk to Gatekeeper and the Monolith incursion event fails to trigger. I try loading the save again. Crash. This time it gives me a "Memory could not be written" error.

I decide to try an earlier save. This time the event triggers and I successfully kill everyone. But as I'm healing someone (I think Freedom... they must have got hit by a grenade) shoots my in the face and I die. Try reloading AGAIN and I get another crash. This time with a longer message. It's an LUA error, but I don't know what that means. I took screencaps of both errors.

One odd point, the body health UI element was bugging out after successful save loads. This would sometimes happen before the .9 update and I'd have to restart the game to fix it. This UI error was persisting even when starting the game again after a crash.

As a last resort, I tried skipping the mission from Gatekeeper and just moving to another area. But the game crashed without a message during the loading screen.

That's what I did initially when I updated to 0.9. Then, after a few hours of playing that character, I decided to load my old save just to see what weird crashes I got. Well, it worked fine. The busyhands is the name of a bug that among other things prevents the player from interacting with objects or the weapons player holds.

If you can't:

• use your weapon or reload
• open your inventory
• drink/eat/sleep or otherwise interact with items you have
• correctly see your HUD in the bottom left corner, and it appears like everything is at 0 and it's all red
• transition between locations

Then it means your save file is affected by busyhands. The only known way to fix this is by loading an earlier save that was made before any of the things mentioned above started happening.
It is believed that the most common causes of this bug happening in the first place are:

• Enabling mod Turn this on if you stutter in Mod Organizer (or auto_switch_distance_start value being manually changed).
  ⬆️ If you're using this mod - follow !busyfix ⬆️
• Enabling disabled animations, or adding new animations with custom mods

Certified DISABLED ANIMATIONS that bring busyhands if you enable them:

I had 377 and one X on the AutoLoot mod. Which I don't use. I reinstalled GAMMA. 377 mods again. Loaded game. The environment was green like the original Anomaly, not bleak like GAMMA. Found the "Autumn" environment mod in the GAMMA list and enabled it so I had 378 total. However enabling that mod changed nothing.

Edit, I enabled the Autumn mod based on reccomendation on a Reddit post.

Hi! Installed GAMMA for the first time yesterday, and everything worked like a charm. I had 100+ fps on pretty much maxed out settings and my native resolution (2560x1440). My specs: RTX 3080, i7-11700K, 32GB RAM. Today, for unknow reason, my fps is half of yesterday (~50-60). Changing graphic settings didn't help much. Tried most of fps optimization tips as well as a full reinstall. Could anyone know the cause?

Hello Stalkers! I got a weird issue, hopefully someone here can help me out. So whenever I update through the Gamma Launcher, and change my Graphics settings to my likings, the Game runs at 100+ FPS, however, when I launch the Game the next Day, FPS stays between 33-35(mostly 34FPS). Turning down my Graphics again does nothing, but once I "update" again(Gamma launcher, uncheck "Check MD5"), the game goes back to 100 FPS.
Anyone got an idea what may cause this?

Alternatively, you can use a VPN to bypass the block.

and yes, updating does get it to its latest version, except it calculates this by checking the GAMMA_definition.zip and version.txt, so if you've messed with them (such as by redownloading the wrong file) it will think you have the wrong version and therefore redownload everything

I have tried 0 cpu fix
I have randomly almost fixed fps 10 - 70 for the whole session
No in-game settings help till reload
Also I have terrible edges on textures and AA and SMAA isn't working at all, at least it feels so
To get around 70 fps only helps turning AA & SMAA off along with SSAO

Can anyone share current "Good" settings setup for this modpack and how to check that it's working as supposed
