Fyi, doing md5 can infact block you again.

Either try switching the moddb mirror in the gamma installer from Default to 127 or 128 and do the full install again.

Or use a vpn, maybe moddb just doesn't like your ip.

We can't really see the problem if you take a picture with your cellphone. If you have a problem you want to share with us, you can do the following, since we don't care about your second monitor or your desktop image:

1. Press F12 in-game, look in Anomaly\appdata\screenshots. If it's not there, look in your GAMMA RC3 folder, inside a folder called overwrite
2. Press PRTSC (Print Screen on your keyboard) open Paint, CTLR + V to paste the pic, save it, send it
3. Windows key + Shift + S, which let you choose what part of the screen you want to copy, it will directly copy the pic for you.

It's the new DOF (Depth Of Field) effect.
You can turn it off:
1) Open the game.
2) Go in Mod Configuration Menu.
3) Search SSS Settings.
4) Disable whatever options you don't like and/or move sliders to the left.
Shaders Cumulative Pack for GAMMA has to be enabled in MO2, otherwise the SSS settings won't be visible.

If these steps don't work and DOF remains enabled, press ~, type r2_dof_enable off and hit Enter.

1. Go to \Anomaly\appdata and open user.ltx with a text editor.
2. Search for snd_cache_size and snd_targets then reduce their value from 256 to 128
3. Launch the game and open the settings.
4. Click Visual then Advanced.
5. Slightly reduce Texture detail and Object detail.

Once you've done this, try to recreate the crash again and let us know
If you do crash, send the new log that will be created

I'm still having this issue, crashes on the loading screen when travelling from Garbage to Rostock, haven't had the issue anywhere else. Tried DX11 and 10, both with and without AVX. Hi, basically every time I launch the game I get this bug on the body health system, it's a visual bug, or something not loaded properly, because I have full health, and I can use any meds but it wont show in the hud. the bug also messes with other things like shift + mouse over transfer item and some more. reloading the game does fix that, but it's annoying. the only thing I changed from vanilla is a line in zzz_player_injuries.script (local easyhealing=true -- If easy healing is enabled, you wont need to use post healing items and first aid items would restore blue health)

Hello. So I think I got all the mods downloaded and installed, my MO2 shows 358 active mods and no red X's. I noticed a couple things. The installer did not add a desktop shortcut, and when I launch MO2 and attempt to run anomaly, I get a ping like an error occurred and nothing launched.

I just installed gamma on my macbook through portingkit, which is more or less the same for linux as for mac. It starts up the mod organiser and the game, but the game is glitched visually in the starting menu and when i try and start a new game it stays on the loading scene and dont progress.

It's the new DOF (Depth Of Field) effect.
You can turn it off:
1) Open the game.
2) Go in Mod Configuration Menu.
3) Search SSS Settings.
4) Disable whatever options you don't like and/or move sliders to the left.
Shaders Cumulative Pack for GAMMA has to be enabled in MO2, otherwise the SSS settings won't be visible.

If these steps don't work and DOF remains enabled, press ~, type r2_dof_enable off and hit Enter.

Why do I have this strange effect in my game? etc.

It's the new DOF (Depth Of Field) effect.
You can turn it off:
1) Open the game.
2) Go in Mod Configuration Menu.
3) Search SSS Settings.
4) Disable whatever options you don't like and/or move sliders to the left.
Shaders Cumulative Pack for GAMMA has to be enabled in MO2, otherwise the SSS settings won't be visible.

If these steps don't work and DOF remains enabled, press ~, type r2_dof_enable off and hit Enter.

To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

hey i have the same Shader Cashe issue, tried deleting the cashe folder, and reinstalling the mod all together, but i am trying to run it through dx9, the tint is blue

its always this blue tint or i get the shader cash fatal error code

Only 11 10 and 8 work with gamma

Need to uninstall anomaly and gamma completely for a fresh install, is there a recommended way other than just deleting all of the files? I also want to save my game, settings and keybinds. I know where my saves are, but which file contains the settings and keybinds?

1. Future problems with modified modlist go to #🔨modded-gamma-support
2. That specific error is currently under investigation, apparently it's caused by npc's that are trying to unjam the tommy gun.
   So for now no fix for it is available

(obviously disabling that mod will seperate both reload and unjam into 2 separate keys)

i have followed the steps as close as i can, i use Anomaly (Dx 11), it waits a second, makes an error noise with no error visible then stops

2) Copy these four folders (check pic)
3) Go to your Anomaly folder
4) Paste these four folders (check pic)
5) Overwrite/replace all if asked
It won't delete your save files.
