Guys, has anyone had issues with this task? I've been trying to get it done for 10 in-game days. Everytime I get there at night or day, a new pack of mutants or a single one are there and when I kill them it doesn't comlete it. HELP PLS, or at least tell me if there's a way to get rid of the task

I have now reinstalled using the gamma launcher twice and these errors show up and longreed addon is still the only one that is x'ed out everytime. I can get into the game and I pick my equipment. But when I start the game it crashes.

@junior mooni did md5 check and it sats i have 62 errors. aka tjhhem being corrupted/or not up2date, telling meto manually movethem into gamm/dowloands and then updage gamma date and it will fix

It's the new DOF (Depth Of Field) effect. You can turn it off:
1) Open the game
2) Go in Mod Configuration Menu
3) Search SSS Settings
4) Disable whatever options you don't like and/or move sliders to the left
If these steps do not work and DOF stays enabled, press ~, type r2_dof_enable off and hit Enter.

Shaders Cumulative Pack for GAMMA has to be enabled in MO2, otherwise the SSS settings won't be visible.

8) Launch the GAMMA installer with admin rights, press Download G.A.M.M.A. data and then Only install G.A.M.M.A. addons

If your issue isn't solved, press Download G.A.M.M.A. data and then Full GAMMA Installation in the installer.

When I launch gamma through mo2 my mouse is jittery (not smooth) in menus and when I move my camera with my mouse it’s also not smooth. I’m running in borderless, have vsync turned off in game and have tried the steps in #old-framerate-optimisation but nothing seems to help. The frame rate itself isn’t even bad, it’s at a consistent 100, which is what I capped it at, all the animations are smooth it’s just when I move my mouse

I just started a Duty playthrough and accepted "From Ukraine with love", however after entering the location to complete it, the quest marker will randomly move around the map and sometimes enter a different location. Teleporting to it just causes it to move away also. Any idea why?

I finished the first scanner recovery fine. Went back to turn it in and did then got the second mission. Got the prompt to recover the second scanner but thats it. The first one stayed in my tasks list but the second mission isnt there and now IDK where the scanner is to find it.

To bring your mod list back to default, inverting any changes made by you:

  1. Open the installer with admin rights
  2. Click on Only install G.A.M.M.A. addons

Keybinds
To bring your keybinds to default, DON'T press the default button in the menu, you'll mess up everything.
Instead, do this:

  1. Go in GAMMA RC3\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_patches\appdata
  2. Copy the user.ltx file you'll find in there (note that every change made by you in your user.ltx will be reverted to default)
  3. Paste this file in Anomaly\appdata

G.A.M.M.A. has a default mod list to make sure everyone has the same things, everything goes back to default when you update or you do a complete installation, it's normal.

Is it possible to make him stop speaking at all (I am ok with like hits, being injured and he moaning), but not saying sentences and stuff. Is there particular setting to remove this? Hello guys, there is big issue - game plays normally (directx10), but when i try to enter Yantar or Dead city (found only 2 locations, there is maybe more) game crashes.
I tried all recommended directx and visual C libraries, shader delete, reinstalled whole client+gamma 2 times (yes, even downloaded twice all mods). Also tried to launch in directx 9 and 8 - but its refuses to launch without any logs.

Why do we have these mods in the mod list if we can't activate them?

If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

  2. Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file

windows security > virus & threat protection > manage settings > exclusions

  1. Open GAMMA installer as admin
  2. Click "Download G.A.M.M.A. data"
  3. Change ModDB download mirror from Default to 128 or 127
  4. Click "Full G.A.M.M.A. installation"
    Don't delete anything

It's the new DOF (Depth Of Field) effect. You can turn it off:
1) Open the game
2) Go in Mod Configuration Menu
3) Search SSS Settings
4) Disable whatever options you don't like and/or move sliders to the left
If these steps do not work and DOF stays enabled, press ~, type r2_dof_enable off and hit Enter.

Shaders Cumulative Pack for GAMMA has to be enabled in MO2, otherwise the SSS settings won't be visible.

You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

  1. Download the 1.5.2 update: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
  2. Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
  3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)
  4. DRAG AND DROP the content of this archive inside your Anomaly folder

Previously, every time I equipped armor the inventory would close and an animation would play, but now it doesn't.

Was doing some Backups, renamed the MCM values folder, checked if GAMMA was up to date in launcher (just pressed the middle button that said "its up to date").

When I load back in I have the stealth icon which I never had on. Most of my settings seem to have stayed but now I have this weird bug!

Found a solution for my issue, leaving it here for anyone to find. Appearently some MCM settings (ingame) got switched on/off. The particular issue I had was Better Stats, toggled on the last two and now it looks normal

To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

Help I redownloaded the entire gamma modpack because I had problems yesterday with it. (I had installed it into the same folder as regular anomaly.) However now that I reinstalled into 2 different folders, activated 358 mods, and all that, it still won't launch...

any chance the RF RECIEVER stash quest is bugged insouth easter swamp in beginning of game? you get a random message from like [Anonymous] on my pda and he says 96 mhz south eastern swamp and im in that little village u go to as soon as u spawn from rookie village and ive walked around on top of building everything 10x and still cant find anything no pda on dead body nothing

To bring your mod list back to default, inverting any changes made by you:

  1. Open the installer with admin rights
  2. Click on Only install G.A.M.M.A. addons

Keybinds
To bring your keybinds to default, DON'T press the default button in the menu, you'll mess up everything.
Instead, do this:

  1. Go in GAMMA RC3\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_patches\appdata
  2. Copy the user.ltx file you'll find in there (note that every change made by you in your user.ltx will be reverted to default)
  3. Paste this file in Anomaly\appdata

5) Create a new folder exactly named 76- Boomsticks and Sharpsticks - Mich
6) Paste the gamedata folder inside this newly created folder
7) Now go to GAMMA RC3/mods and look for a folder called 76- Boomsticks and Sharpsticks - Mich.
If you have this folder - delete it, if you don't have it - skip this step.
8) Launch the GAMMA installer with admin rights, press Download G.A.M.M.A. data and then Only install G.A.M.M.A. addons

If your issue isn't solved, press Download G.A.M.M.A. data and then Full GAMMA Installation in the installer.

You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

  1. Download the 1.5.2 update: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
  2. Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
  3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)
  4. DRAG AND DROP the content of this archive inside your Anomaly folder
  5. OVERWRITE everything when asked to do so
  6. Open the installer with admin rights

so I got it to get to the main menu for gamma but failed to realize I was missing mods. got all the mods but cant get back to the main menu and I dont think I changed any pathing settings. sorry im not a tech savvy person so its probably something obvious πŸ˜…

1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. installer as admin
2. Click "Download G.A.M.M.A. data"
3. Click "Full G.A.M.M.A. installation"

Full GAMMA Installation does NOT remove saves, nor does it mean you are redownloading everything and it won't delete anything at all.
A full install will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall and fix them, and any that need to be updated will be updated.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the installer will revert them back to default), type !backup in #πŸ€–bot-commands.

Can't see the HUD anymore?:
Press Numpad Enter if you can't see it at all.
Or press H if you can see something but not everything.

Your HUD looks strange?:

  1. Load a save before this bug happened.
  2. Press Enter on the Numpad (if you don't have a Numpad, turn off HUD in your game settings).
  3. Press H on your keyboard.
  4. You should have no HUD now. Try transitioning to a different location. HUD will get re-activated and fixed.
