I'm having an issue where healing seems to bug my weapons. I'm not sure if it has to do with the busy hands glitch or not, as I can still access my inventory. When it does happen, my regular numbered key binds don't work, but I can still heal with F1 through F4, but when I do, the weapon reappears overlayed on top of the healing item. Not sure how to fix this.

I'm using only the default gamma mods, i discovered after a few days there was a minimap and a key to toggle it; I used it with glee two or three times and my son got in my lap and bashed some random key on the keyboard. Now, that toggle key doesn't work and i'm again mapless. I made sure all the minimap mods were still enabled as they had been, i confirmed the binding in the MCM, but i cant get it to work

1) Open the game
2) Go in Mod Configuration Menu
3) Search SSS Settings

Welp, here we go Swamping as Clear Sky again

So I've been chasing this issue for about 2 weeks now. Been playing GAMMA for about 3 months, full updated 3 times, and just did a clean install, but I'm getting insane hiccuping. Nearly all the time if I'm moving. Sprinting snags every few seconds, shooting someone or getting shot makes my game hang.

I've dug through frame rate optimization, I sit about 60fps when I'm just hanging out or the game isn't stuttering. Have the stutter mod on. I'm on a 980 and i7 6700, so sure I'm not running top of the line, but I wasn't having this level of choppy when I first started GAMMA or even for a month after. Tried different drivers, no real change. Went into Nvidia CP and forced set my GPU/CPU. Tried AVX, no real difference. New characters or different locations are about the same.

It's acting like it's loading stuff, any time I interact with something, shooting someone, bodies, talking, moving faster than a walk, massive hiccups. Even downloaded groks prefetch everything, and it "seems" to help at the start, but doesn't persist. It's almost like my games been degrading somehow, since it worked near perfect a month ago. Also why I thought doing a full delete/reinstall would help.

Anything else I can try? I don't have issues with games way more demanding, granted XRay is its own beast, but I'm not noticing abnormal temps or performance in demanding games so I don't think it's my hardware.

It's the new DOF (Depth Of Field) effect. You can turn it off:
1) Open the game
2) Go in Mod Configuration Menu
3) Search SSS Settings
4) Disable whatever options you don't like and/or move sliders to the left

Shaders Cumulative Pack for GAMMA has to be enabled in MO2, otherwise the SSS settings won't be visible.

Doing that but now it's stuck on downloading Boomsticks and Sharpsticks, been like 20 minutes now

Nope, the installer says extracting to and a little white window is popped up with Boomsticks file name that just says downloading

hey @keen cedar any reason, beside user error, can !k98 fail to fix the head_damage issue and pop up with the head_damage error again

I hit cancel (which was probably an awful idea) but it re-started the download for it and is very slowly going back up but is stuck in the same spot again
