DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.

If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following:

• interact with objects or people
• use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it)
• open your inventory
• drink/eat/sleep
• check your HUD in the bottom left corner

If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.

The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.

Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:

• Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
• Animation for skinning mutants
• Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
• Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement

Running Gamma I keep getting stuttering and freezes

I've enabled the stutter fix on the MO2 options but it hasn't helped

yes it's because of that guide "Concerning mods settings, you simply need to rename a mod called "G.A.M.M.A. MCM values - Rename to keep your personal changes" that you can find in your mod list.

• my minimap will not show up
• there are no prompts at the bottom of the screen when I am looking at an object I can interact with (eg. Press F to talk, Press F to pickup)

Hey there, I was wondering if anyone has run into this issue: I like to keep my stashes separated so I keep a workbench for each type of item. After I moved all of my artifacts over to a metal box from a certain workbench, my radiation resistance went down substantially. I used to be able to wear decent medium armor/helmet with no issues, but now as soon as I hit a patch of radiation ANYWHERE in the map I take radiation like I'm not wearing anything. I even put on an eco suit and radiation specific helmet and I still take radiation. I did recently update the addons, but it was working fine for about 5 hours of gameplay. This seemed to occur after I moved the artifacts in bulk from one container to another. I've triple checked my inventory and item attachments and nothing seems out of the ordinary. It only happens while I'm inside radiation patches. I'm wondering if the radiation has been buffed with the November addon update? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Its not that old of CPU, and roommate with identical hardware other than being on a 3090 (but running a bigger monitor) is getting ~70fps or so

the game doesn't know what multicore is

it's a 14 year old engine

also turn of AA if it is turned on

Turned it off and all setting to minimum for testing (core 0 off as well as all reccomended fps fixes)

try using something that'll show the load of your gpu/cpu

nvidia experience was showing 99% GPU load which was weird. cpu load was low though

you have to check for the load on every core od your cpu

the load is "low" because the game is using a single core

k I'll try and get it working again. nvidia's overlay stopped working somewhere along my troubleshooting...
