Quick explanation about WHY you're missing mods/files:

Moddb isn't really suited for the installer, it's not that much ordinary to download 300+ mods casually every other day, so you can lose some files in the process, when you download them.
MO2 can't obviously know if you have everything or not. This is because, if the file structure of the mod is "okay", the mod is "okay".
Anomaly, on the other hand, knows right away that something is wrong/is missing from a specific mod, because it has to look for certain files in certain mods. And if those files are not there, the game crashes.

that spawn command (spawn at smart terrain) will spawn him right outside of the laundormat, he will walk inside. I'm not on that quest so I can't test. He did walk inside the laundromat on my end though. You can spawn him regardless of where you are in the Zone, you don't have to be there physically

When you're in game, press J. Be sure to be close to them, 200m is the maximum distance you can be far from them, don't go over 300m.
Also, if their health bar is grey, that means that you're far from them and they won't "hear" you.
You'll need to get more close to them, sometimes you'll need to be right next to them in order to "teleport" them.

Having some issues with slightly frequent crashes in areas further north of the zone, mostly Jupiter and haven't even been able to see Zaton yet. Recently after toning down some graphics settings to combat crashes (changed resolution to 1080p and then back to 1440p, my native res, because it looked pretty bad tbf), pretty much all of the game's visuals no longer render, just the UI and the sounds.

Fixed, and can launch the game now, thanks! Had to delete the shader cache again, as the game on first relaunch was incredibly dark and there were strange sunshafts, but that's fixed now too.

@candid talon @alpine beacon @graceful scaffold the same issue drove me crazy for 3 days. No matter what I've tried, the small hiccups every few seconds didn't go away.

I did everything that's recommended when having performance or stutter issues. Additionally, I have disabled ~130 non-essential mods and put the switch_distance in alife.ltx down to 100. I've also experimented with other settings related to alife, but nothing helped.

Interesting enough, vanilla Anomaly and Anomaly with my own mod list of ~60 mods didn't have that issue, even with switch_distance set to 2000.

I thought, it must be related to either a graphics mod or a logical mod that checks or does intense stuff in a short interval so that would have been the next mods I would have tried to disable as far as possible without breaking GAMMA.

But suddenly, I remembered how I've tried DXVK (a DirectX to Vulkan translator) a while ago and it actually improved performance for some (older) games. I gave it a try, cause why not... and boom, the issue is gone!

Additionally, the whole performance has improved for me by a good amount. Higher FPS and less stutter in general. For example, I also don't have stutter and a major framedrop when looking through the binocular anymore.

Though, traversal/alife related stutter is still there ofc, but I'm used to that from the official trilogy lol.

TL;DR: DXVK fixed basically all my performance issues and improved performance (FPS etc.) in general so worth a try even for people that don't have any major issues.

I'm not sure if this will help in fixing the problem.

The first time I experienced an extremely intense stutter was in the [miracle machine] mission.
The last part where you need to pull the switch.
I fired a grenade at the glass container at the top of the tower.
Then the game shit itself.

It lasted for more than a minute with the sound and effect of the glass breaking over and over again.
The FPS dropped to single digits and even the sound started to break.

Everything was fine until then.
But after this happened, I kept having the FPS drop to single digits.
It's almost the same as what happened above, but I'm in the field.
It took about a minute to get back to normal.
The strange thing is that this only happens when I'm facing a certain direction, for example: south.
As long as I don't move/watch in that direction, everything will go back to normal.

Moving G.A.M.M.A.:
1) Open your GAMMA folder and ONLY delete the "mods" folder you'll find inside. Leave the rest untouched, you don't need to delete anything else
2) Move your GAMMA folder to the new location
3) Run the installer as admin, click on Download G.A.M.M.A. data and then on Full G.A.M.M.A. installation.

Moving Anomaly:
1) Move the Anomaly folder to the new location
2) Go to your GAMMA folder
3) Delete ModOrganizer.ini file. It should be below the ModOrganizer.exe application
4) Launch Mod Organizer (click on the ModOrganizer.exe file in the same GAMMA folder)
5) Press OK, then Browse, then select your Anomaly folder. Done.
