rostok is notorious, latest update improved things by removing added light sources

to gain more FPS in those areas make sure you set shadow resolution to the minimum aka 1564 in the launcher

there's no fix except "load a save from before you put the upgrade on it", or debug menu + spawn yourself an un-upgraded Ak5C

also PiP scopes (w/ yellow names) also eat your frames

I have started crashing. at first it wouldnt give me an error message and I thought it was my amd drivers but it finally gave me the "shader compilation failed" error.

^ in that folder there should be "Anomaly", and "Gamma" you put the 2 zip files for gamma in the gamma folder, the 2 zip files for anomaly and the 1.5.1>1.5.2 update for anomaly in the anomaly folder. Then extract all. That's the FIRST steps, which isn't done correctly here

You get it and just keep it, it allows you to them move into north yantar. If you walk into North yantar and it says "you need protection" (always stay protected kids..) and it hurts your psi then THAT would be an issue

But the first time you try to go near the Yantar lab you should have gotten a message saying something like "Your psi protection is not strong enough to continue". In game terms that means: "You don't got a helmet... You ded if you come here, sucka" .
The helmet just removes that part

like enemies will still psy damage you, but if you try to go to the lab in north Yantar youll take a ton of psy damage and die, no matter what. it will even tell you "Major Psy Damage Ahead, You Should Find Protection" (paraphrasing) if you dont have the Psy Helmet, if you get the Psy Helmet you wont get that text on ur hud i dont think, and youll take like 1/10 the psy damage you used to.

Having an issue with the main story. Got streloks notebook. Talked to the barman in rostok. Told me to go see gatekeeper but never gave me a task for it. It may have something to do with the fact that I already got the calibrated psi helmet and shut off both MM and BS beforehand. Any help would be greatly appreciated. No one else I’ve spoken with has had any idea how to fix it. Also I’ve looked for gatekeeper, unless I’m looking in the wrong place, he is nowhere to be found. Debug mode has also yielded no results as it seems you can’t spawn him in. Again, unless I’m doing something wrong

Just lost an Invictus run to a bug in the quest Mortal Sin: Needle in a Haystack. To anyone who can freely use the debug menu and are stuck on this quest, if you legitimately can not find the signal on channel 171 Hz on your receiver, it is because the game did not spawn the item in. You can spawn it in yourself with (1) Item Spawner in the debug menu using "stitch_decoder"

@forest hearth there's a guide over on the EFP discord on how to fix the Keeper of the North quest or whatever, it requires respawning Gatekeeper back in and applying a behavior to him

I got the same bug in my game, you will need a save prior to you failing the quest though

if you go to army warehouses super early before starting the Living Legend questline, it's very easy to brick this story line due to Gatekeeper not being immortal (which he should be for all intents and purposes, this bug is too common for him not to be)

So...I'm doing the scientists quest line, and after finding the artifacts i Dead CIty, the guy next sends me to talk to a Dr. Pirogov. However the quest insta-fails. I'm experiencing a minor bug regarding the Rookie mission from Fanatic in Cordon. He initially asked me to kill a mutant which I did, however the next bit of dialogue didn't trigger anything and now my quest just says "Speak to Fanatic" and he has nothing beyond the generic dialogue.

Is there any trick to resetting the quest? I have debug mode enabled if that helps.

DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.

So, when there is a group of bandits or mercenaries, renegades etc. sitting next to a camp fire, and I kill with a headshot one of them (while they are unaware, ) the others will simply stand up and freeze. If I shoot the others, most of the times they won't react at all. I can go to them and speak an sometimes they'll start shooting sometimes they won't.

alright - the "proper" fix is to do this with Grulag's Dead Bushes:

1. Find the mod in MO2 using the search bar
2. Right click > Open in Explorer
3. Delete everything inside the mod's folder
4. Run installer as admin
5. Click "Download G.A.M.M.A. Data"
6. Click "Only install G.A.M.M.A. Add-ons
   The "dirty" fix is just to leave it unchecked, it's a visual-only mod. It will give you leafy bushes. If you want to make the rest of the Zone look greener (to match what it looks like with that mod disabled), go to #🤖bot-commands and type !deadzone and follow the instructions

Both Anomaly and Gamma are folders separately in C. I've been playing for quiet a while I shouldn't have messed around with the files 😅

2. Copy these three folders (check pic)
3. Go to your Anomaly folder
4. Paste these three folders (check pic)
5. Overwrite/replace all if asked
   It won't delete your save files.
