Hi, I have an issue and I'm looking for a fix. But first.. If I'm in the wrong place, let me know as I'm new to the game and the server.
Yesterday I installed the game for the first time. I used all the steps from the how-to and at the game initially seems to work fine. However, in the three sessions that I've tried playing it, I experienced what I think is my PC sound crashing completely. Once, right from the start of the game my sound was disabled to the point that I had to restart the PC to restore it. Twice, this crash happened after about 10 minutes of playing GAMMA with sound. After quitting the game and returning to Windows 10, all sound was completely gone even though I was still using the right original (right) output settings and devices. Any help?

Moving G.A.M.M.A.:

1. Open your GAMMA folder and ONLY delete the "mods" folder you'll find inside. Leave the rest untouched, you don't need to delete anything else
2. Move your GAMMA folder to the new location
3. Run the installer as admin, click on Download G.A.M.M.A. data and then on Full G.A.M.M.A. installation.

Moving Anomaly:

1. Move the folder to the new location
2. Open MO2
3. Click on the green and blue gears icon to manually edit the new .exe paths of your Anomaly folder

1. Enable Debug mode
2. Hit F7 in game, choose Object Spawner
3. Check Spawn at smart terrain
4. Fill out these settings:
   Spawn by section: special_bloodsucker_task_squad Select level: I07_military/ Select smart: mil_smart_terrain_4_2/
5. click "Spawn".

Solution to bloodsuckers from "Night Terror" in Truck Cemetery not spawning at the target location:

I turned off limit fast travel and turned on death animations and agressor reshade and it dropped my fps and caused stuttering so I turned them off and the fps is still low and stuttering is still a big issue even with the "turn this on if stuttering" mod is active. Is there any way I can fix this? Even turning down my graphics doesn't change a thing.

This command is specific for a specific kind of crash, but it's good in any case to remember an important lesson:

If you enabled ANY FDDA animation, turn them all off.
Yes I'm talking about backpack, crouch, mutant loot and items pick up. It's causing your crash. I don't care what you think it is, it's FDDA. Turn that shit off.

The only thing you can keep enabled is the first option: Enable FDDA animations

You've replied to someone with a similar problem that you're working on the fix, but didn't see any further messages
Daddy token save is not working when this bug is active btw (it asks for Shift + F5 even when I'm holding shift - as if it was bugged somehow)
This means you've got to run to the nearest campfire to get rid of this bug :c

It's not necessary to load the previous save - you just need to reload the game (you can save the game when it's active and after reloading it's gone)

I CTD every time I aim down the sights with NVGs turned on. I only have the 1PN93-1 NVGs, so I don't know if it's just those or all NVGs

I'm not sure if I can describe it more in-depth 🤔
The issue is that I can't do most of the interaction seemingly (not 100% sure) after searching the bodies - this happens randomly from time to time and only saving and reloading fixes it
The interactions that are bugged are: searching the bodies, opening PDA, companion wheel, Daddy token save

It just happened to me 3 times in a span of 10 minutes 😐

After installing, I saw that zombie spawns are disabled in the ZCP menu in the Mod Configuration Menu. In Zombie Variants, many mutants did not have checked boxes, including bloodsuckers and snorks. Stashes are empty by default; you will have to find or get coordinates to actually find something in them. These coordinates can be obtained as rewards by completing quests, by reading PDAs that you can find on the bodies of stalkers you kill, you can even threaten wounded stalkers to get them, before you kill them.
You can also buy them from traders, although the location is always random, so it could be anywhere.

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:

4. While in game, check your keybinds for reload and unjam

KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't disable it in your current save file. The only safe way to do so, is by loading a save where you don't have the mod enabled or by starting a new game WITHOUT Mags Redux.

When doing an ammo check, should you see the character actually taking the magazine out of the weapon, or does it just move off screen a bit. For me, after enabling the Busy Hands fix, it moves the weapon off screen slightly, then displays the ammo status. I should mention that I enabled Mags Redux, according to the instructions on here. I am not sure if I should post this to custom-modlist-support or here. Sorry, if I got it wrong. Also, I posted a question earlier about a ZCP option, but did not get an answer. Should I repost it, or will it get answered eventually?

enable the stutter fix mod, disable core 0, enable triple buffering if you have nvidia GPU, accept that it is an old game with a lot of extra mods and that it will stutter especially when spawning in/approaching NPCs

Not sure if this is a bug or something, but I was hiding in a corner of Flea Market during an Emission and there were a group of mercs (I was Clear Sky so neutral with them). A couple suddenly turned into lurkers (I guess they didn't move far enough into the corner or something?) and started attacking the rest of the group, but every single one of the mercs just stood there and let the lurkers maul them to death. I managed to kill the lurkers, but the fact that none of the mercenaries defended themselves or reacted in any way to being attacked definitely feels like a huge bug. Though it did lead to me getting a huge amount of loot.

I have to remap the Quick Load to F10 cuz I use F9 for other stuff, but it automatically remaps back to F9 on reboot.

To Perform this follow these steps:

yo it's that guy with the amd gpu problem (unique I know). DDU'ed it again and had the auto-detect software get the driver for me this time. it's the enterprise drivers which are apparently the most stable one out there and Stalker still crashes them after around 15 minutes of play without the game crashing itself. now I'm definitely sure it's not a driver issue since this is the third safe mode total wipe and reinstall

Been following the guidelines in #old-framerate-optimisation and toying around with settings via the console myself, but I have a feeling that this is a bug more so than related to some graphics settings. Have also tried DX10, and DX11 with AVX on and off - results are the same.

When looking in certain directions, the game will stutter a fair bit. It will constantly jump between ~40-180 FPS. May not be as noticeable on video, but it is extremely annoying whilst ingame.

Interesting that those weren't in the optimization guide, but the issue remains. It's probably related to some graphical part since it only occurs in certain areas when looking at certain directions. The render thread goes haywire, best solution so far seems to simply be to limit the FPS to 60.
