My biggest concern is that I cannot figure out what actually reproduces this, only that all the sudden I noticed the ammo in my inventory going down again, and my magazines staying untouched.
Yo, my health is slowly going down but I have no thirst, hunger, or rads that could be killing me. I am overweight but I had to drop my bag due to an emission and I was still losing health. Any idea what it could be?

Also, I think I've created the reproduction conditions, maybe. If you open your inventory while reloading, it will cancel the reload, and also eat all of your bullets.

Er, to clarify, it will cancel the magazine reload, and the next time you reload, it will use the vanilla reload behavior
Except those bullets then go into the void when a magazine is loaded.

Yeah I think it was me bleeding. Health isn't dropping anymore and the bleeding effect was probably hardly noticeable during the emission. Thanks for that!

Gonna spawn in some other weapons and see if I can reproduce it with those. The RU 1911 works exactly as you'd expect 100 percent of the time, the SKS tactical is the one that breaks.

No, it does interrupt the load, but it does not eat the ammunition or revert to vanilla behavior.

Gamma has very difficult progression (IMO) from vanilla. You can tweak stuff in the progression settings though.
So another question is there chance that if I go to for example near Fire anomaly i got some fire artifact ? like if i want to get the same artifact for upgrading/repair it

I think artifacts tend to spawn based on the anomaly, yes. Gravitational anomalies spawn gravity artifacts, and so forth.
Yes, artifacts have higher spawn chances in anomalies that match them.
I found artifacts to be moderately rare, but it isn't like the Zone has a shortage of anomalies.

Repairing guns
Guns must be repaired to progress since you can't buy them from traders with GAMMA Economy. Indeed, the EU and UN decided to put a stop at the bloodshed in the Zone as well as guns smuggling from the Zone to the nearby countries by trying to limit guns traffic, and no faction want to have problems with more Private Military Companies paid by these organisms, PMCs are already crawling enough within the Zone.

Mortal Sin Needle in Haystack quest seem to be bugged? RF Receiver is beeping bonkers af but no decoder in sight
I have read the "instructions". Ok, I did not remember the first sentence. But the game mechanics are super complex, there are thousands of different parts and prices for spare parts are just unfair. When all the parts of a 3000ru gun already cost a good 30000ru and you have to add tools, a workbench (which also costs another 1000ru every 5min) and a matching kit, it just seems like a deliberate impediment to the flow of the game.
the flow of the game is supposed to be a slow buildup to get good stuff
you don't need to buy things if you just know what kind of loot to bring back home
then open up the crafting and see what all kinds of things you can do or need to craft better stuff
find guns
take good parts from guns
put good parts in gun you want to use
do not buy parts unless desparate
All parts that i find in the zone the first 6h are trash with under 30% condition, mostly under 10%.
yeah the loot in cordon sucks
the more north you go, the better stuff you start getting
but you can find all kinds of other crafting materials even from bandits
ps. when i create stashes with crates and not with backpacks, i cant fasttravel to them. is that intentional?
and some guns have at least 1 part in 60% condition, field strip them and start hoarding stuff
you can change the fast travel rules in settings
please go through all the menus there to find out what seems good for you
yes, those crates are for keeping lots of stuff in a large stash
so by default they get no icons because you would have a mess of several stash markers overlapping

I think there is an option in the debug menu to force run cleanup on items. I think.
ball peen hammers, showels etc. it's pretty common loot and you don't need that much to craft the station

I can only assume you somehow managed to overwrite things in the perfect order for stuff to work. You should probably do a fresh install.

Honestly, delete that whole folder and start again using the seperate anomaly folder and re-extract gamma. You can save the downloads folder and put that in the new gamma folder.

As I suspect my sanity would be consumed if I tried to understand how Mags Redux worked, I can only assume that it does some trickery with reloading, and that trickery is mistimed on the SKS Tactical, but again, just that one (so far as I can tell)

To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

Welcome to gamma, radiation is worse, its in random spots, and it changes with emissions.
What gear do you have?
So, full reproduction steps:
- wpn_sks_tac and mag_sks_whatevercaliberitisthatican't remember
- Loose sks rounds in inventory, as well as magazines in the loadout
- Load sks with magazine by clicking and dragging on it normally
- Press reload, press inventory key during reload (maybe only RIGHT before the bolt is pulled back?)
4.1 (Maybe reload a second time? It should do a separate animation from the normal one for whatever reason) - Weapon should now have ammo, but no magazine in it
- (Optional) Shoot people with the rounds you've just crammed into the gun
just doing the mission with the guide so nothing
A good gas mask is REALLY REALLY important in Gamma

And having no gas mask means basically any radiation area is gonna hurt.

Make sure to take all of the water with you if you dont have a good Mask
If you do not care about cheating, the debug menu will just let you spawn one if you want, although everyone has a different stance on how they play the game.
Option A - restart, take a respirator, option b - hope like hell you can avoid it, chug vodka and smoke like a chimney until you kill someone with a good mask, get some basic tools, and get it fixed up.
Even the really cheap masks are Good Enough™️

guys, currently i have an Monolith Skat-9 armor and i want to exchange it's Loner counterpart. Thing is Skat-9 is heavy (or at least uses heavy repair kits) and there's no option to trade Heavy non-exosuit armors

It's a .45 pistol. It's good at killing mutants 
never tried mutant dealing with a pistol so that's my next thing to do lol
9mm is also viable, and you'll likely find a higher capacity gun early on but those 45 hydrashock rounds hit hard
Hydrashock will deal with most mutants quickly.

guys, i found a Monolith Skat-9 armor and i want to exchange it for it's Loner counterpart. Thing is, Skat-9 is heavy armor (or at least uses heavy repair kits) and there's no option to trade Heavy non-exosuit armors. Should i drop it? Or maybe check with Duty, Freedom or Ecos maybe they have the option to trade Heavy armors
with the mags mod, if you put a bigger mag in a gun does it change the in game animation to reflect the different magazine?

Hello, yesterday I was having crashes when psi storms arrived, after following instructions I updated the modpack and now it crashes even when trying to load any save, doesnt matter if I make a new one or I use the old one.

In order to update your Anomaly 1.5.1 to 1.5.2, follow this:
- Download the 1.5.2 update: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
- Extract the update into the root of your Anomaly folder
- Overwrite everything when asked to do so
- Open the installer with admin rights
- Click on Update GAMMA data -> Full GAMMA Installation
You need to update to 1.5.2

The missions says they are drugs to retrive, supposedly a stash
Turn on your minimap, and look around for it
If you get a tiny arrow pointing up over it on your minimap, it means the stash is above, arrow pointing down means the stash is below you

If it's a circle, look around for any objects that could be stashes

how do i stop random freedomers from being hostile at me for no reason? early in my playthrough i killed leshiy cause he stole my damn loot and ever since then random ones have started attacking me even though i've done my best to stay neutral afterwards, even did some jobs in yanov to try and save some rep with them. only in army warehouses they seem to get mad, anywhere else i have no issue. guess this is just a smart terrain thing?

Hey guys, i finished all the steps for installing GAMMA, but whenever i start a new game, it crashes
I used to have a few VFX mods installed, which i disabled with JSGME, but it just keeps crashing
Well first gamma needs to be installed on a clean anomaly. Second send crash log and I'll see if it's a quick easy fix, but I highly recommend doing a fresh anomaly
If you need help finding the log go to #🤖bot-commands and type !crash

Gamma won't re-download anything that is up to date. Honestly just delete anomaly rextract same spot. Patch to 1.5.2 and then run gamma installer process again but it will only take a few minutes to check all the mods.

Yeah that was me pre triple buffering. Now what I will say is res is a big issue tbh. If I run at my full 32:9 I'm getting shit frames. I normally play in a 16:9 1440p window

Hello stalkers, so i mapped my lower weapon key to LeftAlt Key, and everytime i press it the fps drops if i keep pressing it the fps will go from 70 to 40, its so weird, any idea what other function is mapped to the leftalt key?

When is upgrading gear without a mechanic viable? Upgrading with a mechanic looks to be cheaper (and less rng dependent) than upgrading with a kit
Craft the upgrade kit, no rng. Costs less than using a mechanic as well.

there are mutants that have a higher spawn at night
many packs of dogs and cats
night time is in general more dangerous overall when fighting mutants
but against stalkers its easier
