The armor for steel vets allows you to yeet grenades and stratagems further away but otherwise not that great considering the light variant of it is in the super store. Armor is cool looking though. The mobile infantry made me the man i am today. Steel vets has the liberator penetrator which is decent but not viable for everything, the breaker incendiary which is only alright against bugs borderline useless against bots, and the Jar-5 Dommy which is slightly worse than the Scorcher in terms of viability. Decent pen. I main this gun. Everything else with it is cosmetic. Don’t get the booster, it’s useless. 12s less for reinforcement after you spend it all. The medal sink is also very high as everything on it is expensive.

Cutting edge armor negates arc damage from instant kill to 12 hit kill on players, enables more arc centric play styles for players around you. Arc tower doesnt one shot you. CE has the sickle which is one of the best auto guns right now. Good damage and infinite ammo. Plasma shotgun is a worse grenade launcher. The arc shotgun is like a multi hit less effective arc thrower with no damage against heavy armor. The booster for it slows down time between enemy reinforcements which is vague as shit and i kind of feel like it does something sometimes maybe. Also STUN GRENADE IS GOATED. Stuns everything except bile titan and tank but does no damage. Can stop a charger in its tracks while it charges you.

TLDR; Cutting edge > Steeled Vets

One thing special about the Steeled Veterans bond is that it contains the only explosive damage-type primary weapon, the JAR-5 Dominator.

It's funny, but auto's been a lifesaver vs bots for me, one headshot or two taps for devs, tanks and turrets in half a mag each, ect. Only thing it's really struggling with is hulks, which need headshots, backshots or excessive amounts of ammo. Just that ability to stagger and kill whole groups in rapid succession makes it completely eclipse the RR vs bots, whereas vs bugs both chargers and biles are pretty resistant to autocannons.
