I’m having trouble joining a friend on techtonica. We are both on xbox series X. It just says initializing game scenes for a minute then returns me to the home screen flashing the message “network error” before automatically closing the message.

One fix that seems to work for people on xbox is to completely wipe the xbox cache. You also need to make sure your friend settings are set to open to friends in game.

you could try a cache reset on your consoles settings -> network settings -> advanced settings -> alternate wireless mac address-> clear

it will restart your console so keep that in mind
