whenever im using the hover pack it will go down in altitude but it won't go up again i have to essentially restart the hover pack. is this a bug or a feature?

When you get to an area where the ground is further down, you also drop, maintaining arend 4-5 Voxels above. That's normal.
It also can happen that the hover pack "forgets" that it was active when you touch a surface while hovering.

right itll go down in altitude but it won't go back up so like at my base at Victor ill be over the river accidentally and have to get back onto my base platform which is about 3 voxels higher than the river but it won't readjust the height so instead of being 4-5 high ill only barely be hovering

I've noticed this bug after "respawning" you just have to save exit and rejoin to clear it.
