did you try dumping the pile of vines in? either by dragging with mouse or shift clicking a stack?

the game only puts in enough for the current cycle plus the next, then it stops inserting

but you can force bigger piles in manually

@tepid rose i can do dump the piles in but it wont be putting more in it through the inserter

that's normal

inserters only add 2 cycles worth of materials
