After the update the game went to windowed mode (which was stated could happen) and that was fine, but I went into the settings and was going through the settings and I changed it to Exclusive Full screen. But the problem is the setting applied Immediately, and I hadn't yet adjusted the resolution, and apparently the resolution was outside what my monitor can do, so now I get an out of range on my monitor immediately, can't undo the change, and it already apparently saved the change because I alt-F4 and reopened it and immediately get the same message from my monitor.
