Is the name worth buying yet?

I do not want any staff/devs replying to this for bias

I would like an an unbiased opinion on the state of the game: are there any bugs? and if so how bad; are there enough features to warrant a £20 payment; how often is the game being updated? and lastly how enjoyable is the game from an automation perspective, not exploration.

yep, but that is to be expected from a game this early in development... the latest version is 0.1.1, so pretty far from 1.0 and therefore bugs and such are almost "mandatory"... I didn't run into any permanently game-breaking bugs, but I do play carefully, so when I see something unusual that might seem a bug I leave it alone instead of trying to mess with it and possibly cry about a negative outcome later

that is something only each individual can answer... I bought it because I saw the potential in it and wanted to support the development, but it is by no means a complete and finished game, it's more like a proof-of-concept: still a lot to be done but shows a hint of what it could be in the future (and in Discord we can talk with the devs and influence how it'll be changed in the future)
how often is the game being updated?
ever since it came out in Early Access there has been an update every 1-2 months, but I don't think a fixed update frequency is set in stone

I personally enjoyed it quite a bit, coming from a Satisfactory background... automation-wise it still isn't as massive as Satisfactory, but it has more plot-wise (albeit there isn't exactly a huge plot yet this early in development)... also, at the moment there are no lethal hazards so to speak, so you can't die from falling or being eaten by a grue, which makes it more relaxing fgsZZZ
