It might be an obvious answer, but it seemed kind of pointless to make a post since I do play on Xbox, but I bought the game since my gamepass ran out and my internet has been off for a week or so and the game loads to where it says it's a game preview then it just closes. Does the game need internet to be played?

Yeah it is. I've tried unplugging my Xbox and waiting a hour before plugging it back in, tried a regular restart and cleared the saved data
