So whenever I load into a game, it just continues to load forever and I’ve tried going to later saves and it just doesn’t work

There is a thread under"Xbox issues" for this problem... I'm assuming you're on Xbox? Seems to be the consoles with the problem

ok after a run through some topics it seem that this is a new issue and there already a workaround for this:

Cut the power to the xbox for 30 second and power it back on than try to load the save. If that doesnt solve it here is a large topic about this already here https://discord.com/channels/910687347987873852/1147166202876133558 (just read the last messages)
