To complete the quest it says to build 8 Accumulators and charge them to 100% i had to build 14 of them to complete this quest - is there a correct way to do this or is this a bug that needs submited?

i have the same problem ...
built 8 accus and they are completely filled, but the journal only shows 73% done :-(
maybe i have some more accus at another location and those are 0% full, resulting in ALL accus being 73% full on average, while the 8 in my main base are 100% full ?
after these 8 accus were depleted and had 0% power stored, the journal showed me "56% done" !?!?

ps: i can't build more accus since i have no more kindlevine extract, and not found any planters and trashers yet to do the research for producing plant products myself.

Make them in an assembler, they already know about that bug in the description.
You are going to need hundreds of accumulators anyway so setting up an assembler for it is a good idea
