I don't know if this is a bug or if I am doing something wrong, but the task that asks you to fully charge 8 accumulators is completing extremely slowly, despite me having powered floors and 6 crank generators powering nothing but the accumulators. I have more than enough accumulators on there, all of which got fully charged, but the task is going up at a snail's pace and appears to stop around 88% completion for 18 accumulators.

Am I doing something wrong? Does anyone know what I can do to complete the task without wasting all my resources on 30+ accumulators?

You gotta pump up those numbers, more input and more accumulators.

It is emphasized several times by Sparks to use assemblers as they make double the items verses by hand. I am faily certain she might even verbally say to use an assembler.

I am at that point in the story on a new save just got it building 8 accumulators, I will agree that it should be stated in written format as well

I was able to complete my task just now by charging another 4 accumulators, for a total of 22. 🤣

That will be to your benefit you are going to need a ton of stored power as you progress

You can build in some of the big open areas you will find without disturbing the beauty too much

So once you have unlocked all the tech there is a tech in your tech tree called core clustering. A core cluster in the present game can either be placed in core composers or hand placed on the ground. You don't have to create clusters you just get the bonus for every 5 blue or 10 purple cores you create that are left over. For every 5 blue or 10 purple you get a 0.05% for assemblers, threshers, power, .25% to Smelting and Mining.

So in basic terms if you have 10k blue cores excess you can get a 100% speed boost to assemblers, threshers, and a power boost. Even more of a boost to smelting and mining

you don't have to have that many cores, any amount will give a slight boost in multiples of 5 blue or 10 purple.
